Custom Transformers Lugnut (finished) This is my finished custom Lugnut. He is a complete scratch build made from a toy airplane, various hero factory and KO TF parts, a scratch build gun and sculpted head. He is meant to be reminiscent of the bosses from the high moon games, with the elongated body odd proportions and powerful oversized arms. He can replicate the speed attack the bruits from the FOC game had as his punch of kill everything. The gun is made of fodder parts and for me, really compliments his look. The head I sculpted my self and made two separate visors for it(one normal one damaged) His alt mode is a military cargo airplane, and when half transformed he has a weaponiser mode. The comparison photos are with prime first edition voyager Bulkhead. In robot mode he is roughly 28cm tall, without the tail fins and in plane mode 45cm long with an equal wing span.
Transformation Transformation Lugnut is transformable, but a bit of a parts former. To transform him start by removing the front of the fuselage, the inner engines and the tail. Then open the outer engines and pull out the hands. The wings fold up to fold the upper arms and the engines form the fore arms. Turn him upside down and extend the rocket boosters ( they are attached to an old radio antenna). The rear fuselage forms the shins unfold them, collapse the sides and attache the feet. Fold down the torso and his body is done. The head is on a series of hinges and rises up to sit on his shoulders, split the front and attache it to the sides of the chest. The engines are places on his shoulders and the tail splits and clips on the back of the wings /shoulders push the boosters all the way in and your done. The last pictures are of his poweriser mode
And this is by far an awesome custom. Seriously, an awesome custom... Doesn't help that Lugnut is one of my favorite either.
That came out really good. Your skills continue to improve, and your ambition knows no bounds! Keep them coming.
thx man, you should try your hand at this your self. with what i have seen of your work you could make this work thx man although I have to admit i bite of more than i can chue, had i opted to use a ratchet joints as uposed to ball joints on his torso and knees this would definetly have been my masterpiece thx man thx
the inspiration for the bot mode was from the high moon games and since thoes two continuitys merged you could say he is from the bayverce, but i dont think of him as part of that continuity
