I'm not an anime guy, so others feel free to correct me but Nakama Toys in Logan Square has quite a few models/figures. They are easily walkable from the California Blue Line stop.

I don't know enough about it to tell you anything regarding inventory or pricing.

St. Charles Meijer had two CW Warpaths and 2, now 1, CW Viper. Also a bunch of RiD stuff on sale, like deluxes for 12 and one-steps for 7. Not half bad.

Anybody going to ToyCon in Bridgeview on Sunday? Want to have a parking lot meet up like after BotCon? I have some stuff I want to sell locally to avoid shipping:

Warbot Defender, Gens Swerve (Kup repaint), Gens Sky Shadow, Star Wars Turbo Tank, and G2 Optimus Prime (G1 repaint). Also maybe AD-01 AoE Leader Optimus Prime.

If you are willing to make a driver to St. John Indiana we have a store called "Otaku Hobbies". They have everything from anime figures, movies, books, costumes, etc etc etc. The owner Wade is a really cool guy also. If you have any special requests, he goes to Japan twice a year and picks up a couple pallets of stuff.

edit: It's 30min from Chicago if you were wondering.

Wow, my in-laws live near there in Lowell. Sounds like a neat place.

I've had so much bad luck finding him, I'm not sure it's worth the effort (like I said before). Too much going on and I'm just getting worn out running around the stores! :lol  If it were a deluxe or voyager, might be a different story, but overall, the power masters are kind of meh. Vehicon has no articulation and his action feature is kind of lame. Save for the cool alt mode, he's a pretty lackluster toy, imo. I can't imagine Junkheap would blow my mind (but I keep looking cause my kid likes garbage trucks! :)  ). Junkheap is the kind of toy that should be EASY to find; spending hours looking for him doesn't feel right. :lol

So to me, this is a missed opportunity for Hasbro: a garbage truck toy is appealing to kids, and Junkheap is one of the hardest TFs to find. :lolol  I'll buy some Imaginext Power Zords for my kid, instead! :D

How cool would a Pyro repaint of Combiner Wars Hot Spot look? I'm gonna say pretty cool.

One of my Constructicons had two left hands.

BTW, the Woodfield/Schaumburg Target had new RID toys. They had the GIANT Bumblebee, Deployer Drift, Deployer Fracture, and the mini deployer figures.

You guys should write Hasbro customer service and see if they'll send you a replacement part.

$7? Was that at the Rosemont Target? I sas that there last week or so, scanned at $27. I would have liked that purple Shockwave, foolishly sold mine long ago. Congrats, nice cheap find.
