I didn't say front discharge cement trucks don't exist. I said no cement mixer on earth looks like Hasbro Mixmaster. And I don't mean Mixmaster has a small cab. I mean Mixmaster has a giant cab with the tiniest windshield ever. The mixer you posted has a windshield as big as the whole cab.

And that cement truck looks nothing like Hasbro Mixmaster. The shape. The number of wheels. The proportions. The ladder to nowhere. The stupid, stupid cab.

Not to stir the argument, but in that pic, the windshield is in proportion to the cab providing relatively decent visibility.

MM's cab is oversized with a small central windshield. Thus if a person were to actually drive a vehicle like that, they would have no visibility beyond the front view and 90 degrees to the right and left.

Apparently it looks close enough to others to know it when they see it. And when I saw the first pics of MM I knew instantly which brand and model he was based on. So yes, he does look something like this.

If Hasbro hadn't bulked up the cab, people would be complaining (even more) about a tiny foot… not like Transformers ever have made-up/altered alt-modes.

It's not a "close enough" conversation. It started with:

    And then somebody said:

So the topic is focused on close enough to need a license.
And no Mixmaster can even see that ballpark.

Mixmaster has always been more a COE truck in G1... Justa quick image search shows a truck like this is pretty close...

The cab isn't the foot. So that is nonsense.

There's no way this will retail anywhere near $50. 2 little heads for the exosuit are $20 retail from Dr. Wu. This will be closer to $100; at least $80.

To be fair, none of the Constructicons' vehicle modes match any real construction vehicle anywhere, they all are pretty unrealistic designs.

Right. The only reason this came up was because somebody said Mixmaster specifically was a real vehicle.

Its a shame the green they used is so off compared the green that the rest of the set has otherwise I'd definitely get this. It looks great as stand alone figure but definitely affects Devastator's appearance because of the color.

It would be pretty hard to find decent pics of real life construction vehicles that match the G1 toys alt modes. Not because they don't exist, but because images of Japanese construction vehicles from the early 1980's are not so easy to find on your average Google search.

I was keeping an eye on this, but if that's true then I'm out. One of the upgrade sets will do nicely instead.

80-100 is what I'm guessing too. If the head looks good and he matches with the TT version I'm interested.

Yes, if you dig deep enough you can find the vehicles they were based off of
