Gadzooks did Takara hire the same people who display these figures Hasbro has at every toy convention they attend? Seriously Ironhide looks so freaking awkward.
Hell yeah! The new diaclone troopers look pretty rad, especially! Seeing them along the old ones makes the originals look like crap! But I'm a little disappointed to see "SUPER DELUXE JET WITH COCKPITS AND EXPENSIVE!!!" That thing is gonna cost $150+. I just want something simple and below $50. I like the face, but the rest is a fail. Ironhide looks lanky, as you said, and he has massive crotch syndrome! It just looks so off, especially when you compare it to the upcoming 3P versions. I think Takara cheaped out on this guy to keep him at a low price point... and that may hurt overall sales if he looks like an MP car with extra bits. He should be bigger! Makes me wonder if alt mode will look as shrimpy as BB's alt mode (especially if we see him placed next to other MP cars).
Lockdown statue??? Awesome! Wish I could afford it. I might end up getting a bust of him though. He had such a great design and all we've gotten of him (aside from gimmicky stuff like one step changers) is an OK deluxe.
Oh wow...I hope the Diaclone line takes off...I want a new Fortress X...with today's toy engineering, he would be incredible. Growing up, I always wondered why he wasn't used in the TF line by Hasbro. Yeah...I also agree that Ironhide looks too lanky...as a result, he looks 'youthful'! XD
That MP hide looks better in these pics. The face looks good but the head feels a tad odd proportionally to the body. The sled looks badass. And Diaclone! So much awesome there!
I think it's just the more accurate opened mouth face, since Ironhide was never one to mince words and keep his mouth shut. I think I'll use it when displaying him.
That is outstanding! Not that I need more stuff to collect, but damn that is some sexy robot goodness going on there.
I am loving pretty much everything about the Diaclone Reboot set but weirdly it's the tiny little motorbike that's really sold me on it, it's like giant robots mixed with manta force and that's pretty much my dream toyline right there. Ironhide looks good enough, he was never a favourite so I can easily appreciate this for the large amount of accessories and the rather complex looking transformation. Magnus is looking great, he'll be going in my MtMtE collection for sure.
Wow! There is just way too much cool stuff to buy anymore. My monthly toy bill is higher.then a car payment! And that's only gettingbSOME of what I need/want. That aside its the collector in me that won't stop anyway so let's see... Ironhide. IMO looks awesome! I think what ppl here are forgetting he's cartoon accurate and all this mambo bambo about him looking weird is only.cuz THIS us how he looked in the original cartoon. Pantys and all SO BOUGHT I love him. And Tracks is a definite too! Diaclone. Looks like Takaras answer to bandai's Soul of Chogokin line mixed with sentinels build of mecha workshops armarauders. I LOVE the little guys and the bike to show scale! Looks like the ships will have cockpits too how insanely cool! Hope the build quality is there and will hold up to heavy play. Does anybody know if there was acartoon supporting this? Or any more info there should definitely be a thread I second that. Between VOLTRON EX all the TakTom unite warriors, and Hasbro combiner wars, masterpiece completionist for original room.characters, and SOC + third party's like mmc decepticon justice division and fans toys I don't see how its possible to keep buying but yet I keep doing it. I'm sure a lot of you can agree lol
