we already have, like, two deluxe wreck-gars already. one official, the other third-party. take your pick.

I'm glad these are MP stylized. As an adult, I'm not looking for toys that look like kids toys. I want great engineering, good materials and paint with plenty of detail. I hope they make a female junkion, the shelves are severely lacking some of the g1 female characters and a junkion would be neat.

What's the release date on this one? Any chance they'll clear up the QC on future releases? A few statements from KFC acknowledging issues and how they plan to address them would be great.

 

I wish 3rd party companies would only do Masterpiece scale. Deluxe and all that we have to much of.

None at all. No word on when it will even be released yet, as far as I know.

 

Pfft. Still waiting on two cassettes that went up for preorder on Oct 31st 2014… one of which uses an existing mold. 3Ps need to take a page from the BadCube book of how to do it right:

1. Show it.
2. Put up a preorder within two weeks.
3. Release within six months of (1).
4. Repeat (with new figure).

 

Oh, man, I couldn't agree more. I also have Eject on order, with absolutely no signs of when he might actually be released. Very annoying! It's fair to say that even though I will be keeping an eye on Wreck Gar here, I have no intention of placing a pre-order on anything from KFC before getting confirmation on release etc. Although I suppose even then there's no guarantee!  

 

That sucks, as this reworked figure looks AMAZING. I would love to have this on my MP shelf. I hope it wont be more than 6 months before the preorder goes up for it.

 

I'm still waiting on that black and yellow Sky-byte repaint. They got the first 2 done, and just stopped before the best coloured and most badass version.

 

That would be so BORINGGG! Variety is the spice of life lol.  

 

Where are the updates or prototypes for these guys?

 

I think they have been focused on not twincast and the missing cassettes. Maybe after those are out and the quality control is worked out we will see a proto for this.
