I got the "passin the time" one just as I logged in.  

 

Getting the thirty new achievements wasn't all that bad. The killing the skeleton from more than 50 meters away was a bit annoying to set up, but most of the others were pretty easy. Even curring a zombie villager wasn't bad.

Is it just me, or has redstone and lighting on the 360 been a bit... buggy lately? I've been designing a buld of the MMPR command center here recenlty, and I wanted to try and recreat the pulsing lights on either side of Zordon. My first test of jut the lights worked, but even though I recreated the set-up perfectly in the test buld of the actual structure, I can't get one side to work properly, let alone try and get both running. The pattern becomes erratic for some reason.

Also, I would post some screenshots to help explain what it is I'm trying to do, but it seems like Facebook won't allow you to upload screenshots anymore. It's not even a Minecraft issue, it seems to be any game that has the feature.

I've gotten back into Minecraft a little after like, 6 months. I even finished a map I started like, a year ago.

Us Xbox 360 players got another update here recently. Some pretty cool stuff. Nothing too amazing, but a really good update. For those of us who want to get used to playing on the PC some day, we can now use the classic crafting system. We can also now write down notes in books.

Though one addition is confusing me, and that's the reverse daylight sensors. Firstly it took me a couple of minutes to realise that this isn't something new we can build, but is instead a new setting on the daylight sensors we already had in the game.

That said, I was guessing based on the name that the sensors with this new setting will send a charge when the sun is down. They do that, but for some reason they continue to send a charge durring the day. Is that supposed to be how they work?

I was kinda hoping to use these on some outdoor lighting so that it'll just come on durring the night, but if they're just going to stay on all day anyways, I'm better off just using levers. Won't look as nice, but it's a less resource draining way to do it.

 

So I've started playing again after a long hiatus, and after talking to a friend of mine we discussed starting the TFW server back up again, only a fresh start in Survival, or going creative again with special survival events. I have a newer PC now that I built about a year and half ago that can handle the load, and want to get everyone's input on before I open the server up. Either reply here or shoot me a message in my inbox if you're interested.

 

Hey me and a friend are using a modded minecraft server if anyone wants to join. You just need to download the AT launcher and it's the mod pack called Resonant Rise.

Yeah I'd be interested. By the way I finally found my first Mesa on Sunday. It has taken me so long to find one. I had to use a program called AMIDST but it pointed me in the right direction and now I have my own Mesa to rip apart.

I am still working on completing my warehouse for storing all the items.

So, for fun I decided to build a server anyway, and it's come alone nicely the past few days. I've added many of the plugin's we had in the old server like essentials, sign shop, vault, etc... The economy plugin is craftconomy, and along with mob hunting for mobs to give out money when killed. Still have more work to do before I put the ip address out there. It's going to be a survival server.

 

Sorry for not noticing this post till now. I want to say I got the update on the second or third. Though I'm not exactly sure.

Speaking of which, there was what I'm assuming was a bug fix, but I noticed that there's some new items available in creative-mode that I don't think were there before.

We don't have their sapplings or leaves, but we now have the wood, planks, stairs, slabs, fences, fence gates, and doors made from acacia and dark oak trees.

Kind of a nice preview of what I imagine will come in the next big update.

I am currently working on a massive fortress on Minecraft PE, when completed it will feature a fully enclosed botanical gardens, an indoor pool, a home theatre, fully stocked meat locker, and a master bedroom with wall-to-wall carpeting. All of this is being done on Survival.

 

The newest snapshot for the next update is amazing! There's new arrows, new dual wielding feature, new blocks, and the End is COMPLETELY overhauled, with a harder way to beat the Dragon. There's new dungeons in the End with new Turret mobs too, with really good loot-I'm talking full protection 4 diamond gear. Mobs guarding End dungeons launch projectiles that make you float into the air, then drops you. To get up the dungeon, you need to be very skilled in parkour, or you could build up or use the new float effect to your advantage.

 

PC, PE or console?

 

PC. Also, the newest snapshots added shields and new command blocks.

 

Consoles are getting an update here soon. 4J has released update lists of what all we'll be getting any the fixes being added.

I have a question for PC players. Something the consoles are getting in this new update is that villagers will now farm on their own. Will they essentially be destroying my crops? or can I place chests for them to deposit the wheat and whatnot into?
