    He really looks like he transforms. I can't imagine them including all that detail and not actually any joints. Weird.

    And technically, as an ornament, I don't think he'd be covered under toy gun safety regulations. Hmm.

    Just bought one for $13.95 shipped on ebay. Cheaper than retail price, no tax, and no waste of gas driving to Hallmark just to find one.

    It would be neat to have the G1 minibot keychains reissued as ornaments. Or those ball robots from KissPlayers/BWN. It wouls be cool.

    I wasn't ever expecting articulation anyways....so it's fine with me. It's a christmas decoration anyways.

    Picked him up last weekend at my local Hallmark store since I had a coupon. He doesn't transform or pose but looks still really cool. Definitely not a toy and some parts, like the gun barrel, will pop off with minimal handling. This one's meant to hang high on a tree away from small hands.

    Time to plan the TF themed tree!

    Ditto that! I wonder if we will start getting G1 transformers ornaments each year now? My guess is the next one would be G1 Bumblebee? Then maybe G1 Starscream or Soundwave? That is if we continue with getting an Autobot one year, and a Decepticon the next year.

    Hang on just one Gosh darn momment.

    They made ornaments of Op and Megs. Yet the only known character with an Ornament for an Alt-mode gets ignored. Poor Rung...

    It never occurred to me to buy Transformers ornaments. I'll have to visit the Hallmark store I work next door to, come fall.

    Yea just ordered prime for 23.98 (since i missed out last year but now i have.more of a reason to pay extra. Theyre nemesis') I called my local hallmark store and they are holding one for me for 24 hours I'm pumped!

    Question though; how big is it and is retail everywhere about $14.95? Thanks

    They are pretty good sized, but not too huge, they do still have to fit between branches after all :lol 

    And yes, how did I forget about the Optimus Prime from last year? I swear I'm going senile.

    I've been collecting most of the Hallmark Star Trek starships like the Enterprises (A, D, E, & now C) for years, and now I look forward to getting Transformers for my Christmas tree too. It would be cool to get one with a light-up and/or sfx feature too, like a G1 Prime head or an Autobot symbol with a transforming sound or Peter Cullen clips.

    American Greetings/Carlton Cards made some cool G1 ornaments years ago, which have gotten expensive on the secondary market, so I hope Hallmark continues this new line. Hmm..., Wouldn't it be great to also get a new Transformers train set to put under the old Christmas tree? Does Tyco still make those?
