Found mine yesterday at TRU in Webster, TX.

 

Just an FYI for anyone in the north east looking for this guy, it looks like devy is in the NJ Distro center, has been for a few days. But hasn't shipped to any stores. Might be being held for the official street date?

 

i switched the hooks in my SDCC and retail version. The Sdcc looks great now with the retail head. I will use my retail Devy for Prowlvastator when the PE sets finally hit.

 

what is the Prowlvatator you speak of?

In the comics one of the constructicons were killed by Spike to prevent them from being able to form Devastator after Devy single handedly whooped all of the Earth Autobot forces. Later on, Prowl is a victim of Decepticon mind control, and they fix it to where Prowl can fill in for the dead constructicon to make Devastator. Prowlstator pretty much looks the same but has a large Prowl head. Later after Prowl comes to his senses and rejoins the Autobots the constructicons follow him around like a lost puppy, and up to the point I've read he's voluntarily formed Prowlstator a few times for various reasons. Prowlstator talking shit to Galvatron was one of the highlights of the RID comics to me.

 

Well the last two weeks my TRU has gotten 4 trucks with a case each time so that's 8 in two weeks so I wonder if these will be shelf warmers ?

Somebody had said in one of the threads their TRU had mentioned they had a lot in the distribution center with enough to fill shipments for the next four months which would kinda make sense as it is a mass release, and not a limited exclusive. It may in the end wind up being a shelf warmer as TRU raises the price and other stores have not yet released it. Target has a release date of 8-1, kmart a release date of 8-11 still showing at $149.99 while the one I picked up last weekend at my tru had already been raised to $159.99.

 

Got mine today from BBTS...and all of a sudden, I'm no longer annoyed that I never purchased any of the 3rd party versions...because THIS guy is THE DEFINITIVE Devastator...I'm blown away.

 

You're going to hate yourself when the UW version comes out.  

 

So glad I pre ordered the UW version. I may still pick up a Hasbro one as well, but only if the price drops enough

 

I was down for the uw version but those elbows still look like shit! Hasbro and 3p upgrades is the way for me. Come on toydojo send that invoice

 

Found mine at TRU today. Price matched for $149.xx, 20% off coupon, $3 and $5 rewards dollars made me a happy camper (I think the total was $121 after 9.25 tax).

 

Devastator finally crossed the sea and came to the island. Check out the price though.  

 

Not really...if I want that version, I can simply sell this one and pay for the extra...but otherwise, I'm perfectly fine with the one I have.

 

They should unless certain scalpers buy them all up.
