Thank you, didn't notice him on my shelf. Now how about one that's actually in scale with every other classics figure I own. Edit: OK, that was snarky and I apologize. but still, I want a a Classics prime that looks like prime, and I still don't think that's too much to ask.
I hear your pain man. I personally want a Voyager Class Optimus Prime that looks good, Transforms, has a little Matrix Accessory function, and doesn't have cheating windows. I don't really count Orion too much, because he is WAY too big for the classics figures.
I need a toy like this that can transform. I know its hip to say anime style is dead or not cool but I'm totally game for a really heavly anime styled transforming TF.
MP-10 isn't close enough to the toon/86 movie Prime to be worth my money. I suspect I'm not the only one who feels that way. Great figure he may be, but not my white whale.
It amazes me how close-minded this fandom can be. It's an action figure of a Transformers character, not a Transformer. The focus here is articulation and sculpt, not transformation. If you want a transforming Optimus Prime toy, believe it or not you actually have some choices. But regarding G1 Optimus action figures, this might be the first one that actually looks good.
i dunno, i pretty much agree with Jayacon ~ in a world where MP-1 and MP-10 and Classics Prime exists, what's the point here? he's super articulate?? that's kind of it? It's not even particularly on-model for G1 Prime: While there is certainly some impressive engineering and sculpting/details going on, I find the Pat Lee-esque proportions pretty off-putting. i don't think it's that closed-minded to want your Transformers Action Figures to actually transform ~ I can understand if it's a statue, but otherwise it's just a Gundam or a fancy Action Master.

I said the EXACT same thing one post before yours. I'm in the camp he PROBABLY doesn't transform. Based off past efforts by Hasbro licensing out their property. That's cool u think.so bro but its possible he does transform. They way this is made and the way prime transforms if Oritoy got.permission to make this transformable it totally could have sliding open chest where the articulation joints are used to flip.in the arms in on themselves and his legs are already set to do it mostly. So to say "this doesn't transform" like a fact is a bold statement. Still I'm guessing your right .... It could be done with this engineering though.don't u agree?
Hey guys I wouldn't get my hopes up of this transforming, months back(when the teaser was first revealed) I heard it didn't. I remembered once I saw the new pics.
Beefimus Prime without a jetpack or some other sort of way to justify it as a reference. Why are people so enamored over Prime all roided out, anyway?
