Combiner hunters and storm trooper for me definitely   maybe devastate cause I love me some shiny chrome  

 

I'm going to eventually get the Combiner Hunters. I just don't have the funds right now. I'm also waiting for October and Hasbro's MP Starscream. I know Devy is a big deal to most, but for whatever reason, I'm not a fan   (I'm also saving some funds to buy pieces from two of my other fandoms- Hobbit/LOTR and TMNT).

While I'm not a MMPR fanatic (though I do like most of the Rangers series), I don't collect them. However, a family member preordered that Black/Gold Megazord after I showed them a pic.

 

I know I am in the minority but knowing the exclusives only go up on 28th makes me feel empty and missing the anticipation and excitement of the hunt!

 

Even though the wait, especially last year was about as much fun as driving a rusty screwdriver through your temple, I will miss hanging out in the "waiting for HTS exclusives" thread. Reading all the pissing and moaning about the wait and how much Hasbro sucks for taking so long to post them, watching peeps drop like flies and just snagging them off ebay for a premium etc.

 

Yeah, after doing this for so many years, and how stressful it is, and all the sleepless nights of F5'ing... Some crazy part of me is going to miss the challenge and anticipation of waiting. I think though, everyone knowing the date, it's gonna be harder than ever to obtain an exclusive this year. Oh well, I guess we'll see how it goes afterwards and we, as well as HTS, will know which method works best. Good luck everyone! See ya on the battlefield!

 

I'm trying to decide if it'll be worth it to order the Hunters 3-pack from TFSource for nearly double cost, or try to get one from HTS and hope I don't miss out completely.

Not sure this was posted anywhere else, this should be the list of all HTS exclusives.

 

Luckily for me, I've decided I don't want any of the sets this year. I'm perfectly happy with getting a 'regular' Devastator, and the Combiner Hunters set isn't that great, except for Arcee.

Of course, if I can get a Stormtrooper, I'll but it just for the extra cash from re-selling it.

 

This year's offerings were mostly garbage with the exception of the Sgt. Slaughter Kreo. Devastator would have been on my radar, but Hasbro's version is inferior to Takara's.

 

In what way is it inferior? j/w

But wow lol Kudos to HTS for making it an actual date lol. It kinda frees up and kills the excitement for the whole time leading up to it.   But also saved money for many of us that would usually need professional help after the wait xD...But NOW the question is...what TIME on July 28th are they going up? Better not be 3am... -.-;

 

I wonder what time they will be going up.

 

did anyone post one of those scans of the exclusives with prices/quantity limits like in year past?

Just curious. Always found those more useful than digging up old announcement articles and having to skim through for the prices

 

also, i wasnt keeping close track on Hasbro exclusive sales over the weekend ... were there reports on which items sold out fast/quickly?

Hoping to get an idea on if certain items will be harder to add to the cart than others

 

Wow That is a crazy list of stuff. Also those prices   I gotta change my list a bit...Pinkie Pie in Chicken suit is a must buy just because its awesome...lol. The Stormtrooper is also a must buy as well as the Magic Origins set. The Combiner Hunters is also on my list and Devastator is off because of the price...and TFCon Exclusive Evila Star is coming soon as well so I want that so much more than Devastator...Also upon contemplation I have NO room for Devastator...XD

 

If I don't get it at TFCon I'm going to try my hardest to get the Combiner Hunters set online. Heck I might get a Stormtrooper and the tiny ant man also. Just hoping I'm not sitting in front of my computer all day.

 

I guess all those earlier price listings were wrong...I was on the fence even then. Now with the price + shipping + tax = I may not even try. Well done Hasbro. You may have priced me out this year.

These are my orders for SDCC product for the last 2 years.... I got in to both years on the first day and the first order is from the restock almost a week and half later. I think there is a definite trend...

 

The FX Yoda light saber sold out Tursday afternoon
Stromtroopers and MINI Antman sold out Friday

By Sunday there were still some Devys and Combiner Hunters and AntMan figure sets left
I believe the Pony chicken bucket was left as well

Pretty much the Stormtrooper is THE hot item this year. They will go in seconds on the 28th. There were even fist fights for it on preview night
