Had some time to play around with Vegeto and shoot some photos. I just wanted to share this for now: Realized you could switch the bangs around! lol. Haven't seen anyone do this though there is no real reason for them to anyways. Haha. PS: I actually only have one Vegeto. I'm surprised how well this photo turned out.
Not trying to butt in here...but you have a rather persistent "my opinion = fact" way of presenting your positions on various things, whether you mean to or not, that make it hard to just "ignore" you for a bit.
What the hell is going on with Goku? Sailor Moon is going for around $80-85, but Goku is going for about $125 minimum. WHY?! As far as I can tell, they're both equally produced. I don't recall any of the previous DBZ exclusives going for this much on eBay, either.
It's just impatient people who will feel dumb when this pops up on BBTS / Amazon / Bluefin's online store like past exclusives.
I'm just worried that those online retailers will get greedy after seeing it go for so much. I seriously do not recall any other DBZ exclusive going for so much on eBay.
Since the recolor SS Vegeta may have a new head sculpt I may get if it's better than the original. I have buy it on time since DBZ toys are selling real quick now.
I wonder, do you think we'll ever see an SSJ2 Goku? There have never been a lot of toys of that design.
/\ yeah of course, is just a matter of time. Goku is like the spiderman of the line, we always get a new toy
Well, the difference in their prices (and I'm not defending BBTS' prices for their SDCC Marvel Legends sets) is basically this: with the Marvel stuff BBTS' doesn't secure their stock of these figures through Hasbro as a wholesaler. They have to secure their stock of these through third parties or have their own people stand in line with all the other sweaty and smelly nerds at SDCC to get these figures. That's pretty much the same for most of their SDCC exclusives they're carrying. Basically, BBTS has to find people who are willing to buy for them or sell to them which means BBTS isn't paying wholesale for them or even retail cost as the people they're getting them from are going to want to get paid for their services. With the Bluefin exclusives Amazon and BBTS are able to get these directly from Bluefin after the convention. They also end up on Bluefin's own website too. So the markup is never much more than what normal retail is for these guys. Now, I suppose there's always the chance of BBTS being BBTS and just marking up for no reason, but it has never happened before.
Yes, but is no excuse for a 200% price increase. I can understand maybe a $50 increase on the Strange set, but not a $100.
Oh, I agree. I wasn't trying to excuse it. Just pointing out why it and other SDCC exclusives like it are not a good reason for people (EVERY YEAR) to freak out about Frieza Saga Goku and Impostor Sailor Moon.
Hey quick question since I am new to the Bluefin exclusives this year.. How long after Comic Con do they show up at Amazon/BBTS/Bluefin? I'd like to make sure I don't snooze on them.
BBTS has always done huge increases on SDCC stuff from Hasbro, that's nothing new. The prices are always easily double what they cost at the convention. They also sell out year after year too, so there is no reason for them to do less.
The ressurection of F God Goku Hair is basically exactly SSJ 2 but in the teal/blue color. Anyone who REALLY wants ssj2 can get that and its an easy custom/repaint
