No Rodimus at all locally to me. Did save me getting tempted though.

Wave four contains 2x each of Warpath, Groove, Rodimus, and Skywarp, so no Huffer, Blackjack, or Viper unfortunately

Luckily I already have Viper and Huffer, but man including them in the packaging cross sell is a dick move Hasbro UK.

TRU Brent X has a shrinking TF section, CW LEader Armada Megs was apparent, some MP Sunstorms and the usual suspects. Also there was the last wave of AoE One Steps, down to a fiver each. (Steeljaw, Black BB repaint), Helicopter Drift was very tempting but I passed because of the mahoosive Thunderbird 2 I was carrying.

    Maybe next time.

Wave 3 and 4 have been combined with the exception of Viper. Wave 2 haven't appeared at all yet huffer (from wave 2)is on the boxes for the combined wave. It makes no sense.

Usually figures on boxes are from the same wave, And with the only figure on the boxes missing being Blackjack, you would think that they were getting released.

TRU Nott'm had the wave 3 CW deluxe in, no Hot Spot or Cyclonus though. Only wave 1 voyagers.

They also had RID Warrior OP, which is the first time I have spotted him, as well as Drift.

Lots of AoE deluxe, one-steps and voyagers too.

Sainsbury's Warren Heath in Ipswich had Legends Groove, Rodimus, Skywarp & Warpath last night. I passed (c'mon TT Groove!), so they're probably still there.

Chalk me up to the "Viper is not coming" brigade. Sucks about Viper, Huffer & Blackjack being skipped. Maybe somewhere like The Entertainer will get some cases of non-European stock in a few months. Would quite like a Blackjack.

    Ordering from amazon.com

    Hi everyone!

I'm new here, but I've kept an eye on this thread for a few weeks now. A while back someone posted about ordering TFs from amazon.com. I looked on the website and it turns out that even with shipping prices, things cost less than the UK counterparts. So I was going to order all four Protectobot limbs, plus Springer and Scoop, only to find that the order adds a £17 import tax cost at the end, bringing the total up to £105.

At that point the exercise doesn't seem worth it, but I'm not in a position where there are TF stockists around - the closest two Sainsbury's usually have pitiful displays of AoE or RiD figures (if that), the Tesco is empty and there aren't any Asda's, Entertainer's, TRU's or Smyth's for miles around.

Is there any alternative to buying from amazon.com for me? Way I see it, even if I waited for the Protectobots to show up on amazon.co.uk, I'd be looking at a higher price of £107 - though both Scoop and Springer are a little more expensive than usual right now. Or is there something I can do when ordering from amazon.com to lower the price? If not, I'll just have to wait until I see them in whichever shops I pass.

Oh, and am I the only one who thinks that Viper would have made a better weapon for Bruticus than Shockwave, who should've gone to Cyclonus instead? Anyone?

Um... TF toy sightings for the last few months... Two Sandstorms, One Blitzwing, and one Blaster in Congleton B&M. Bought a Sandstorm and a Blitzwing. Then we got two consecutive cases of Whirl + Rhinox, I bought one Whirl and both Rhinox's were taken by someone else. Now there's just one Whirl sitting all pitifully there.

At the moment your best bet for a more affordable Defensor could be UK importer Masterforce's AMAZING bundle offer, or what I tend to do is order items singly (under the £15 import tax threshold) from Amazon US to avoid the tax, spacing out your orders rather than grouping together.

The Shockwave as a gun for Bruticus actually occurred in the G1 cartoon, and as a UK Comics fan (and the 'Time Wars' arc especially) I'd have to politely disagree with you there but you can do whatever you want with your own collection. :thumb

As for the protectobot limbs you can get 3/4 from Amazon.co.uk for £15.99 each but that masterforce deal looks good with hotspot as well

As a general rule from Amazon.com after all charges $1 = £1 you are not always going to get discounts over ones available in the UK. Its more about actually been able to get them at all for comparable prices

That's awesome, thanks! I'll buy that, plus Scoop too methinks. And they come with comics! :D

Actually, I heard about the whole thing in the cartoon... while it's a great idea, and I can see why they did it, I just think that the blue military flier would look better with Bruticus, while the purple cybertronian gun would look better with the purple cybertronian robot. Also, I think the original G1 cartoon sucked. Massively. In fact, the only works of TF fiction I actually praise are Beast Wars, Animated, IDW G1 and some elements of the Aligned continuity. Still, I imagine the original cartoon would have been fun back then - heck, I enjoyed some episodes that I had on DVD. But for Viper and Shockwave, I probably won't get either, though I will be getting Groove for Defensor if I see him.

Everyone, check your tescos! The Clacton store has rid discounted. Legions £5, one steps £8, and warriors £11. Saw a legion underbite, one step drift, and warrior jazz and sideswipe. I swiped a sideswipe.

Purchased these from Midco Toys (a Derby based toy retailer) last weekend and they finally arrived today. They are European stock on multilingual cards. Expect them to hit other retailers soon. [IMG]

Hi guys! I'm from Singapore and I'll b in Newcastle for the next 4 weeks. I plan to go to TRU @ Gateshead before watching the pre-season soccer match later tonight *excited*. May I know how's the sightings for transformers, GI Joe and WWE figurines there?

    Thank you! Cheers mate!

Forget GI Joe. Nothing here, outside of specialist importers, since Rise of Cobra.

    Wouldn't know about wrestling.

Most TRUs have Combiner Wars Wave 1 and some of wave 3 by now plus Leader Megatrons. Don't expect anything you've not seen and, probably, at a cheaper price.
