I'm happy with the re-tool in spaceship mode the only issue is the chest and the head.

I wonder what the g1 Scattershot gun would look like with him, have to try it in my Silverbolt's hand.

I'm not saying it didn't happen but where were the images with Cyclonus/Galvatronus with the not final heads I's like to see that.

 

That's what I'm wondering too. According to reports "Betatron" is just that in-universe. It'd be bizarre to retool so much for alt and bot and then skip torso mode all together.

There's no way he goes to production withlut at LEAST a new paint job on the head. And I still think 2016 will see Technobots. Could be they aren't tipping their hand till they figure out if deluxe Groove is available for afterburner.

 

Our first glimpse of Galvatronus was the app vote, and I don't think we saw the head until Toyfair. If not a bit later.

I like Scattershot well enough to buy this. The remolded parts look good in vehicle and robot modes.

My only gripe is they painted his entire face blue. I know that's how it was done for the G1 toy buy I didn't like it then and don't like it now.

I'm sure a 3rd Party will offer a more G1 Computron head so no worries there for me.

 

Everyone's already said it, but man these guys are just fucking with us. ASSHOLES. Computron is my favorite combiner, and all they're willing to give us is this 10% new mold shit cake? The head isn't even recolored from Superion. DAMN...

 

All he needs is new horns. Or I could just cut em down a bit. I am afraid ill get this, as scattorshot was one of my favorites as a kid. Ill get him, but ill be pissed as hell

 

Computron was the one combiner I had as a kid, I remember hunting those pieces all over. This is a disappointment to me, maybe I'll pick up one of those 3rd party ones for the nostalgia

 

Agree. We are owed a proper Computron. These games Habro plays with us are childish.

 

If a third party company was smart, they would make combiner wars compatible limbs for this. We need the technobots. Throw on a different head too.

I like it. I think we may well get Technobot limbs, we've seen 1 2016 dlx new tooling and a handful of re tools, seems unlikely hasbro would have that limited a selection.

Scattershot needs more guns though, sadly looks like I'll need to buy more air raids for his double cannons.

That is exactly true, and this just finished it off for me, I'm going to start selling figures to get Quantron. However many it takes. I'm hoping I can raise at least a decent part of it with my movie leaders.

I really hate that he isn't a new mold. I hope third party makes a replacement body or Takara does. If not I will have to buy one the third party Computron. They at least put in effort unlike "Betatron" here

Agree. Hasbro has been doing a great job lately answering the third parties, but something like this keeps the third parties in business. Hasbro owes us a proper Computron! #hasbroowesus

I mean, I figured Scattorshot would be a Silverbolt retool, so that's not a surprise at this point. But what does surprise, especially in the wake of Cyclonus, is just how little work actually went into this guy. Alt mode is hideous, bot and torso modes are clearly Silverbolt/Superion with different colors. And no dedicated limbs? Yeah.

Whoever it was above said this may drive people into the arms of third parties may well be right, at least for me. Really disappointed.
