    Excellent news! A fresh take on an old franchise is most excellent. I hope the animation style moves away from the abstract form we saw in TFA. Moreover, I hope the stories truly are aimed at a mature audience. No "Hoist goes Hollywood" type stories, no cyberninjas, no "processor over matter" quotes would be a welcome change.

    This idea is great!, and the artistic image of combiner wars menasor is part of this?

    I can see like all these people wanting the CWs over Unite Warriors bc of room accurate decos ;)  I've already decided I like this/these lines and I'm in for and already getting both hasbro and takaras :)

    Best news out so far IMVHO

    hope they stay as far away as possible from IDW stuff though.

    Wish/hope for 2D animated stuff

    Hope it doesnt firmly plant itself in any 1 continuity so all can enjoy but if it does , I hope its G1 cartoon.

    right now I am only getting takaras but if it this new cartoon was firmly placed in G1 continuity then Id consider getting those new characters.

    They did an awesome job with the Mortal Kombat: Legacy series. People complained because the story was only loosely related to the original but it's a new take on the characters we know and love. So Machinima has my vote here.

    With the movies not being my thing and RID not being my thing I was feeling rather left out on the entertainment side of Transformers. Nice to hear there is something aimed at us other than the toys so I'll definitely be giving the series a chance. Doesn't really hurt that it's going kind of old school by giving us Combiners in action.
