I seems Victorion G2 will predate Victorion G1  

 

It's a year out from release and those are handpainted so the finished product could be quite different yet.

The sword is simultaneously awesome and tragic because you need all 5 ladies for the parts.

I hope we get to see cg renders before the weekend's out so we get a better look at the color scheme. Voters picked the hand painters' worst nightmare in turquoise. You need serious layers of that stuff to get it to take.

 

Why is it tragic? All 5 ladies are sold in a boxed set.

Its funny because it was very clear that "Option C" was going to win when the voting was going on, just as it was obvious Hot Spot/Groove would be the torso and that female was the gender. It was what everybody, including myself, was posting they had voted for and now when people see it they act like this is some kind of terrible surprise. You guys voted Aqua and Red and thought the result wouldn't look... quirky?

 

Wow, I can't even remember what colors I voted for.

 

This all looks hand painted at this point, so I'm pretty sure it'll look just fine once we get pics of an actual production sample. I think the color scheme is pretty great myself.

Fun fact: With all the red and blue on her, if you put on an old pair of 3D glasses and look at Victorion she...still looks weird.

 

Wait, wait, wait, there was a vote for colors?

I don't even remember, things happened so quickly. Still, even if the base colors are awful by themselves, they should have found a better way to distribute them so it wouldn't look so off-putting.

 

I was afraid of that. As someone who has to limit his buying per month buying $130+ sets is practically a no-no, and we already have Devvy rolling out I have to pick up. Would have much preferred picking this one up bit by bit like I have Superion, Menasor and Defensor. KMart or somewhere needs to start getting these gift sets because at least they have an online lay-a-way program for us poorer folks who don't want to spend an arm and a leg all at once.

Am I the only one surprised that the official artwork and the display of her shows the cars as the arms rather than the choppers, given that she's been touted as having 'gravity powers' and her powers are supposedly based off which limbs she has where? Idk, just seems like since they had hyped it up they would have shown her with her 'power arms' in place at least in the art.

 

I think I was one of the few who voted for car and airplane limbs, along with the the colors yellow/white/blue.

This version just looks, well, horrible. There isn't a chance that Takara could create their own version, is there? I'm all for badass Femmes, but for me, this isn't it. Maybe they should have just used Elita-1, Chromia, Windblade and Arcee ( or Moonracer and Flareup) for the limbs? At least coloring would be taken out of the equation......yikes.

Yeah, the copter doesnt work as well legs, at all... she would look much better if the limbs is switched.
