How exactly does Wreck-Gar integrate into Sky Reign? They've seemed to be marketing I'm as part of the combiner since he was revealed.

 

I'm not convinced he does. I can see the Legends compatibility in 2016 moving away from being part of the combiners, which hasn't 100% worked, and towards Titan Wars, with the Leader size taking Legends Tapes.

 

^ He should since he's sharing the same mold as per Groove.

 

Really hope we get a legends Gnaw.

 

Alpha bravo had lots of Orange in his deco already. And it wasn't glaring neon road cone orange. Blades has silver in his deco. And the missiles look good in silver. Those yellow missiles on vortex just look gaudy & out of place.

 

They were $20 at my local TRU last week. Yeahhhh....

He'll combine just fine with Hotspot and Victorion. It's just Sky Reign: I don't see any posts/holes for him to lock onto.

 

that RiD bumblebee is so ugly and terrible that RiD optimus prime is double facepalming in shame due to fact he's gotta stand next to it.

 

Hotspot/ Victorion have the same "chestplate/bra" compatability. Sky Reign doesn't have any visible attachment ports on his chest. I have a theory that the groove mold could have a 4th "gun" mode, but haven't had time to try it on my Groove yet... The usused 5mm post and hole on the legs must be there for SOMETHING. Plus in the Combiner Hunters comic it looks like Victorion is using 'Groove" as a gun, so that may have been some original intent...

 

Nice to get some actual in hand prototype pictures of the Sky Reign combiners.

Sky Lynx is really the only one of the bunch I need.

Oh man you can totally see the red on Fireflight on Blast Off....I hope someone at the Q&A panel asks about why the head change?

Yes he will be. That's the whole point of making Shockwave in the first place.

Sky Lynx/Reign is still the weirdest, best thing I've seen from Combiner Wars, and apart from Trailbreaker (only because I have the T30 one) the Wave 6 Deluxes have grown on me a bit more.

Onslaught looks great but he should really have come with two of Silverbolt's guns as his cannons instead of Hot Spot's hoseguns, but that'll be easy enough to remedy.
Air Raid with Fireflight's head would've been a way better choice for Blast Off than just brown and purple Quickslinger, and I really hope that Vortex gets the running-change treatment to more 'toon accurate colours, if not I guess I'll be doing a little painting. Don't know why they didn't at least give him a new cockpit either.

If Hasbro does loves us Rumble and Frenzy will NOT be made from that crappy Groove mold! I've got the 2 PE versions anyway but I'm thinking more so about the inevitable Rewind/Eject repaints that will follow.

The rest are spot on. Hun-Gar will likely be a Skylynx remold. I would'n't be upset with a Nova or Sentinel Prime either.


A Metro-Plex repaint is pretty much in the bag though I would've preferred Trypticon or Omega.
