That Grimlock doesn't really fit the RID aesthetic; too much mechanical details. Still at least Takara tried to make an in-scale Grimlock with some clever retooling. I'm satisfied with my (more show-accurate) Warrior. Still of they fixed the issues with the mold it might be worth checking out. Underbite pls?

That big Optimus... looks suprisingly good. Very glad it's a retool rather than a strict redeco like Hasbro's attempts. Definitely the best toy of his new body from the season finale. Prefer it over the standard Optimus colours, as well as Hasbro's Warrior. Hope there will be a Megatronus in this scale to go with him.

Speaking of, the Megatronus Legion 4 pack looks good. The 3 Autobots looks to be improved over Hasbro's. The other one is meh.

That Drift is glorious! I'm considering using that as my MTMTE Drift due to the new head and paint. Pity you have to get Jazz with him, still not too fond of that toy.

Very glad that Rumble and Frenzy are getting rerelease. Missed out on those due to their limited availability and would love to retire my FOC disks.

And dat Black Shadow!!! Finally Takara is releasing the toy of their original character that Hasbro (somehow) beat them to 4 years ago. Not sure which is more accurate to the Victory anime but since I do t have Hasbro's I'll try to get this for my Victory shelf. Make Blue Bacchus Takara!

What do the blue highlighted parts on Optimus Prime Supreme Mode mean? I was thinking they were remoulded parts, but he has much more remoulding than that. (like the chest and shoulders)

 

Takara's releases this year just keep getting weirder and weirder... But I like them. FOC Grim into RID Grim looks decent enough, I most definitely want that Rumble and Frenzy rerelease and if that Optimus comes with the deco he had in battle grounds, that and the sword might completely sell me on the mold. Not really certain about Jazz. I'll wait for more pics.

 

I have no interest really in the adventure line or it's western counterpart.
But boy do I want that Drift.
He looks great painted up like that

 

This Optimus toy looks very cool and awesome. Nice windshield from cartoon accurate, nice face had a mask. Great job Takara!

That image is using the regular Adventure Jazz (which comes out later this month) as a placeholder. 'Jazz Battle Mode' will presumably have some different deco.

Very sold on that new Battle Grimlock. The amount of retooling on that toy is amazing and if it's as accurately painted as the rest of the Adventure line it's going to look beautiful when finished.

Drift was a real surprise here with the new head. Was expecting the classic Drift colors but not a new, and very IDW-ish, head sculpt. Still wondering what they'll do with Jazz since the picture shown doesn't seem to have any changes from the original adventure release.

 

Man that Drift and Grimlock are dope.
