I think we may have at least 1 new series Doctor coming, they are either negotiating or holding off the big announcement till they have recorded something or the ink has dried on the contract. It'd most likely be a box set rather than a series, as most new Doctors are very busy.
But all this should shake up the status quo and make things more interesting.

I can't see Eccleston doing it and he's the only one I'd have any intrest in.

The Classic Doctors, New Monsters concept has already thrown up an intresting question,

How exactly are Weeping Angels going to work in audio form? :D

The Doctor is off trying to make a gadget to fix things or open a door and the sidekick is telling him from the other room how close it's getting to them.

Also you never know, this is the type of thing where they can record an entire box set over a long weekend as it's just people in a room reading a script. Also they don't have to have the entire cast on hand. So they can work around people's schedules. Part of the major hurdle of not being able to use any of the new series is gone, so at this point it's probably just a matter of negotiating and time management.
Tenneth is shooting Jessica Jones, so he's busy, but he did big finish before, so he's the most likely.
Matt Smith, is busy as well filming, but some of his cast have already done Big finish.
Not sure what Eccleston is doing but if they can't get him, I say get an impersonator and do companion chronicles style stories

Pete Walsh does a pretty good 9th

I was just thinking, I wonder if Big Finish will try to do a War Doctor series.

I want the return of River Song. And some more stories about Clara's echos, but without possibility of two Claras together. Or with it, why not...

Doctor Who LEGO Dimensions Trailer - IGN Video

Looks they are even going to sneak in a Doctor who meets Doc Brown scene.

For absolute authenticity, when the Doctor dies in the game, he returns as the 1st Doctor and regenerates back up to the 12th Doctor. The interior of the TARDIS will reflect whatever Doctor you're playing as, and you can select the different versions of the Doctor Who theme music from a jukebox inside.
A smaller add-on, the Doctor Who Fun Pack, includes a playable Cyberman minifigure and Dalek model which can be built and rebuilt twice

So I could deliberately get my least favorite Doctors killed in order to get back to the ones I like....as the 80's Cyber Leader would say "Excellent" :D

Hope this eventually leads to a full on Who game as with 50 plus years of characters and locations to use it's perfect for the Lego format.

If they really wanted to do the franchise justice they could do one Classic themed game and one focusing on the revival era.
