Did you have to do any disassembly and does the it discolor the parts at all? Sorry I'm new to the magic and wonders of floor polish

Nope, just look up some videos. Drip some in the joint with a toothpick, move the joint around so it gets good coverage and then leave to dry overnight or several hours. The works for all kinds of joints.

I'm glad that my V1 had no joint issues, especially in the hands.

I'd rather he not have that many joints in his hands in the first place, mind you. So fragile. I largely leave them balled up as fists. Seems safer that way. That tiny little plastic rod holding the thumb on is terrifying.

I was hoping I would be able to steal MP Soundblaster's hands for use on this guy, but it's immediately apparent having Apollyon in hand that SB's fists wouldn't work.

Just some plies and a little twist is all it takes. All it took on both my V1 and V2.

Also, to those saying I said there were "major changes" I never said that. What I said is V2 is leaps and bounds better. I stated the new fixed QC issues I seen. I never said anything was remolded or anything like that. Sheesh.

    Best Regards,

i took a pencil, put it down the silencer sharp end first and whacked the pencil with some pliers. barbaric, but it
    got results.

yeah, i'm sure mine is just a lemon and sorry if it seems like i'm constantly bitching but $175 is a big deal for me :lol  i'll contact BBTS and see about a return or replacement

Nbd, it's just there are plenty of resources here to help you figure things out and like any purchase, if you aren't satisfied, do something about it.

    REmoving ORange plug from silencer

I was able to get mine out. I was not able to twist mine out. There was too much glue and it was in place solid.

I have a dremel tool, kind of like a hand held router/drill. It is a must have. I use it all the time to polish, cut metal, drill out.

What I did was use their masonry bit formed from a cone of stone and I drilled out the middle of the orange plug. It kind of melts due to the heat. Once I was able to get the majority of the orange out I used a needle nose pliers to work the left over orange shell off the black. Any left over piece of orange I used the masonry tool to remove. I then used the bovver to buff the inside of the silencer. Now, there is no orange plug and it looks toy accurate.

I think routing out the orange plug is the best idea because there is no way to grip the outside of the plastic silencer and not scratching all the plastic.

BBTS is definitely second run. Scroll back thru the thread to see the differences. It's been discussed at length quite a bit.

Some of the articulated picts I've seen fans do with this guy are amazing. Having Apollyon power posing with some Marvel universe 3 inch figures especially.

I had to post here. I had seen some reviews on this figure and was questioning getting it. The reviews did not seem too good. I posted here and asked some questions. Everyone told me to get it. I ended up canceling my preorder for the second batch as the reviews turned me off. I then saw emgo's review and decided to buy it. I got a hot toys star lord, fanstoys sever, Tulsa, combiner wars ultra magnus, and convention black convoy. Out of all of those figures this figure is my favorite. The look of him is amazing. I have yet to transform him and I'm not looking forward to do it but I definitely will transform him. I decided my masterpiece five would go intoto gun mode. I cut my hand and got a blood blister transforming him. I also could not pin everything together so there are gaps in him. So all the reviews talking about this figure the official one is just as hard to transform. My wife who does not care for my collection even said the masterpiece five looked stupid and the Apollyon look like Megatron from the cartoon. I love this figure and everyone here who told me to get it was totally right.

Well, still waiting for BBTS to ship mine out, seems like the longest I've waited for them to ship. It's been 3 days, now i have to wait to see if they do it Monday.

I'm just really anxious to get this guy in, my Soundwave needs a Leader and my hands need a new Transformer to mess with. Lets go BBTS! Ido have to say, i am a little anxious also because this is my first 3P figure...

I want to say I'll transform him, but I'm just not sure if I'll take a chance somehow with my luck even being careful, I'll break something. And i hardly ever break any Transformers...but i dont think i will break it.

he's not that bad to transform, honestly. i didn't watch any reviews or look at the instructions, just check out his robot mode and look for clues on stuff that might collapse or open up or fold into something. he's a puzzle but he's not all that hard. just don't go forcing anything or ripping shit off.

I just transformed him yesterday and yes, he's not the easiest to transform. Having said that, I do appreciate the effort put in by the designer.

I have the exact same problem. How did you end up fixing it? Sanding the ball joints down?
