I'd rather that, to be honest. nice to get a bit of back story and see him before everything went to shit.
the timing on it is ever so slightly off. I'd heard about it and scoffed at the thought. When I played through it i was totally fine. Then about a week before Knight was coming out I decided to replay City, and I beat it really quick and was at home with the controls again. Then I played origins immediately after it and there it was... the timing was off on the counters and I was getting my arsed handed to me by goons I could take out with my eyes closed. I thought I was going mad, but upon investigation (google) I saw loads of people having the same problem. I like origins, though. Just not right after playing another of the batman games.
man, it'd be heartbreaking if Barbera had to choose between helping out him or Gorden for story reasons, considering they're fighting the joker.
Are they done with the batman series in video games? Maybe they should make a batgirl or nightwing series in videogames.
I liked origins. I really did not like the Harley dlc, that really wasn't even real story dlc that it was pitched as. All it was, was one big 20 minute challenge map. All I could think was that was it after finishing it. From what I read of the red hood dlc, it isn't much different. I really hope the batgirl story will be different
I never ever really noticed ANY difference [and I just played all 3 of them in a row before Knight came out]
I bought that upgrade, but it didn't seem to do anything. I fired my cannon but it didn't attract any Cobra. But Dark Knight Returns is more of a fantasy "What If" scenario that was a one shot story without an established Batman. This is part of a series that has already established it's Batman to not be that way. No, I didn't. However, I've learned that once I use the controls in a manner once, if I change them, it works out even worse than it did for me initially. I would rather see them do Flash because they could easily make use of bullet time to be as if Flash were running at super speed. It would be badass to run up the side of buildings instead of gliding or grappling to them. However, I think a Green Arrow game would be the safest route since it would play exactly like the Batman games. And companies today love to stay in their safe zones.
Wow, something I didn't notice: The map from Arkham Origins is there in Arkham Knight. You can see the Pioneer's Bridge and Royal Hotel. Only thing is, I'm pretty sure Pioneer's Bridge came out near the Steel mill, and it looks like the bridge comes out near the Museum.
Does anyone feel like quick gadgets just... don't work anymore? I cannot get the quick batclaw to work when I want. You can technically see all the games from Arkham Knight. Pretty sweet.
Yeah, Arkham City is there. I wish we could have gone to it just for the sake of it. There is no way Knight has used up a full 50gb worth of material.
It works differently in Knight. You have to press LT first then the face buttons. It threw me in a loop first time I was in combat. They did say the models are more detailed this time around. The sound design and graphics must'e taken up their space. Also, there won't be any tank battles in City or in the Asylum so there's that.
