Where are there interview tapes? I haven't found anything. BTW, if you were debating, DO NOT PICK UP the strategy guide. It is not even the least bit helpful when it comes to needing to figure out a Riddler puzzle.
Oh, I thought it was just artwork I got. Did not know it was tapes. I'll have to listen to them sometime then.
Alright so I've finished the game: Good: -Graphics are superb, animations are tight as ever and the physics, sans Batmobile, are great -Combat is fan-fucking-tastic. Goddamn, this was fun. I only did side missions so I could go into combat -Stealth is phenomenal. Knight at times felt like a serious stealth game. And after you get the hacking device it felt like Watch Dogs, but actually good -The Spoiler hallucinations were by far the most interesting game mechanic. Even though it simply is just turning back and seeing something change -The Batmobile was fun to use, although at times it felt floaty -Voice acting is great as usual -Story, while not as contained as Aslyum, was good. It did have that psychological atmosphere of Asylum and towards the end I was legitimately disturbed. It really felt like a horror game in certain points -This game makes really feel for Batman. Poor Bruce. Spoiler Between losing your mind, and being constantly overwhelmed, no wonder he is on edge all the time. Although when he acts sincere towards Dick, Alfred and Jason, it did get something in my eye. -Scarecrow was a non-stop badass in this game. Holy shit, he might be favorite Bat-villain -I love the amount of gadgets in the game Bad: -Fuck riddler - Spoiler The twist wasn't bad, but really disappointing. Was hoping for something blow my mind. It wasn't too bad, though -Shame about the boss fights. With the improved combat who knows what they could have done - Spoiler Why was the ending unclear ? C'mon this is the final game, at least make it make sense -The Spoiler Hush mission was lackluster. Especially after the build up -Fuck riddler -Why are all the skins exclusive ? Hell some don't even look that good (Batman Beyond is just sacrilege). Same goes for the Batmobile. Really wish we get a better selection of skins Overall: This game suffered the same fate as MKX in that it is a great game, but its launch was tainted by the PC port and DLC practices(MKX was more about Micro-transactions, but still). It has the best gameplay in the series and probably the most emotional moments. This might be my favorite game of the series. Now with the MKX, The Witcher 3, and Arkham Knight, I'm actually excited for the generation.
rumour floating round WB Montreal are working on an origins sequel, looking to hire new staff for a new project. I saw it earlier, if i see the source i'll post it.
...I liked Origins, so I'm happy to hear that. I think if they treated it as its own thing, it'd go over better.
I liked it as well, it's probably the worst of all 4 but I still think it's a good game (take that for what you will). Would be cool if they took on board the feedback here and gave batman a simple batmobile that you just drive around in if you want and worked on the boss battles more. Would love this to be the introduction of Dick Greyson or something as well.
Not really a sequel. Everything is pointing towards it being a Suicide Squad game that they'll rush production on so it'll release with the movie. Keep your hopes low.

I'm pretty happy to see Scarecrow done justice in something mainstream for once. I also didn't notice how much the environment changes during Spoiler hallucinations. Like billboards for example. I only wish Spoiler you could use the Jokermobile skin again.
I was practically blueballed when I saw that the skin was "unavailable". And Scarecrow never did anything for me until this game. He was legitimately intimidating. Also, I fear toasty will be the summary for all my posts.
The worst part about "unavailable" is it makes me think it would be available again. Maybe in New Game +?
anyone else kinda underwhelmed about there only being like 4 combat AR challenges? I wish there were more. And I wish I could pick who I want to play as [so I can use those extra Robin/Nightwing skins] Guess I'll go back and re-play the Arkham City ones. Just woulda been cool to use all the new combat mechanics in one of those classic "unlimited bad guys" type challenges
I heard they would bring back the original challenge maps. After fixing the PC port first, of course.
Game froze and my entire ps4 froze cause of it, scary 5 minutes watching a bar check for system memory loss etc. it's all good though
Not surprised, it is WB. They have pulled this stuff before, only this time, they did something because Stream now allows refunds. If they didn't, WB would have just ignored the issue and said they are too busy with DLC to fix the game.
Spoiler Wow, can't believe it ended up being true that Square Enix and DCC Collectibles spoiled it months ago that Arkham Knight was Red Hood. I remember even pointing it out here that Red Hood and Arkham Knight share the same pistols and people assured me it was just coincidence!
Beat everything minus Riddler because honestly I would prefer just leaving him down there, but I'll still go secrets-hunting later. Spoiler (I felt bad for the fire chief, and I made Azrael and Batman friends) Kind of dissapointed that the end with the Spoiler Knightfall Protocol was just "blow everything up." Hopefully the ultimate ending will be better?
