Hi, has anyone tried equipping the Feralcons with the weapons from Warbotron's X-Ray kit? The trouble with those is that most of them have a large grip designed for the opening hands of the Warbocons, and although I believe the Feralcon hands are all POM, I wouldn't want to risk breaking the hands by forcing the weapons in.

 

I still keep my rex on my home work desk. He is the greatest iteration of the greatest g1 combiner.

 

i have to keep my rex in a cage, per my condo association. sucks, but i cant afford the insurance otherwise.

So I just got Fortis from chimungmung. I thought he was supposed to come with a replacement butt part for Bovis. Not that it matters because I'm still waiting for the release of Bovis.

 

Questions on the "Battle for Moritorus" storyline.

Does the storyline start with R-02 Talon or R-03 Bovis because he was released first? Or does it not matter reading one first? I do not currently own any feral cons as of yet.

 

I just go in the number order. Talon's seems to be able to go first or second. Truthfully it's not written all that great. It's okay at best. And I hope you love Felisabre because it's pretty much all bout him.

Still for something free, I guess I am complaining too much. I'd rather have an okay written story then no story.

No you won't. It's a Usual suspects type deal. 5 versions of the same story. It's not Watchemen, you won't get too confused by starting in the middle.

Congratulations on your Leo Dux. He's awesome. A recommendation. Get the legs if you can as soon as you can. Bovis and Fortis are selling out many places. Planet Steel Express still has Fortis. You may have to bite the bullet and pay the large shipping charge if you want him. BBTS says they'll have more of Bovis back in stock between July and September. Do not pay 150-200 dollars if you don't have to. Also look at the BST forums here, as few have announced they are looking to sell off there Rex members. I don't know why, I love these dudes, but we all have different opinions. Good luck you're gonna love these dudes.

 

Thanks! Yeah, i was browsing BBTS for the past couple of months thinking "When are they getting a restock of Bovis and Fortis"? I checked Ebay just to see what they were going for. I am not paying $300 for a loose Fortis. Lol

 

I believe that started happening with like "wave 2" Fortises, as even like "wave 1.5" Bovises came with the replacement part already installed so there was little need to keep supplying replacements. If you don't have Bovis yet, then it won't need it, assuming you buy a recent/future release. Only the very first batch of Bovises have the issue.

 

Im definitely late to the Feral Rex party as Ive got the various members on their way in but I have one question. Which of the Feral Cons come with Feral Rex's hands ? I have Talon here already but no hand with him.

Ok so i recently got my Leo Dux and he is amazing! My brother played around with him for a little bit and now wants his own. I checked BBTS and Tfsource but they are already out of stock! Will they be getting another shipment soon? If not, where can he get one for a price that is not ridiculous? Thanks in advance!

 

Probably Planet Steel Express but with some caveats. He's only available as part of their special where you get all 6 members for 600 dollars. Shipping is high and it is from overseas. But you could get all the guys you need to finish Rex and he, your brother, could take the Leo Dux. Personally I feel Felisabre is worth getting as a standalone figure, and he's part of that deal. I haven't heard anything about new runs for Leo, Fortis, or Talon but that doesn't mean they won't happen. Shoot, they did like 4 for Hexatron in some form or another.

Yeah after Leo Dux you have Bovis which was just pushed to 3rd quarter in the US. Felisabre is only 80 bucks on TFsource though which makes him awful tempting.
