If anything, you should. I don't go around saying you gotta combine all six but Feli does include extra faces and red hooves for Bovis. Plus, Feli is made from what I feel is the best mold of all of 'em.

So if you want to have the complete MMC options, then yeah, definitely get Feli. I've got all six of 'em myself.

 

Just wanted to say that MMC has some top notch customer service. Bought Leo off of ebay, but it didn't come with the tail that ends up being the handle for his sword. I emailed MMC and they sent it to me free of charge. Very pleased that Rex has his big a-- sword now!

 

And people aren't kidding when they talk about how much force it takes to put the new hooves on! Getting the old ones off is pretty easy, but back on--get ready for some sore fingers!

 

As an avid Predaking fan and proud Ares owner, I have decided to double dip. While I still think Ares is a better gestalt and animals, the robot modes on these are so good that I think I need these as well.

I am not a big fan of buying gestalts all in one. I like to appreciate them a piece at a time. I have a Fortis on the way, but I am in the market for some singles if anyone has any available.

 

Getting them on didn't seem to be too bad at first. Got the first two on without much issue. But then, by the third, my thumb was getting numb from having applied so much pressure for the first two. And then the actual soreness set in on that last one and it took comparatively forever to get the bastard on.

 

EXACTLY. First two, no problem. Third one--getting pretty sore. Fourth one--needed a break and came back later!

 

As much as I want to get them all, I will be holding off on Felisaber because he's a remold. With so much new stuff coming out, the wallet is taking a pounding, LOL. If I could have it my way, I would get double or triple of each figure to display in all modes. I will just have to live vicariously through tigris.

I am hoping the Bovis on preorder will at least come with red hooves, the extra faces i can live without but the black hooves make him look like he has on tapping shoes for some reason, lol.

 

It's doubtful. I believe MMC has said the red hooves will only be available with Felisabre.

 

Yeah, this. Feli is a great figure too anyways and he's absolutely worth the price.  

 

I just opened my Leo Dux for the first time last night - did anyone ever have an issue with the crotch plate? It doesn't affect how it works in Rex mode, but that little connection where the 2 sides meet and swivel totally just came apart like butter. The screw is still on one side, but it wont screw into the hole. Since it doesn't really affect Rex mode, is it worth contacting MMC?

 

Yeah, contact them Also try your retailer first. If they can't help you then contact MMC, they may send you a new one. MMC prides themselves on customer service.

 

Hmm ok. It was preordered at PSX and I got it (along with others) months ago at this point, but never opened it until last night. Felt I deserved a Father's Day special moment.  
I should probably check them all out before emailing them then.

 

Hey guys I just got Rex a few weeks ago and have a question for those that have him. Is there a certain way to disconnect the limbs? I think I am doing it wrong it seems like iam using to much force.

 

Nope. You simply pull them off.

It looks like there are little buttons but in reality they do nothing.
I think they were originally designed to have a little release button but it never made it into the final product, but the molding still has the spot for the button so it looks like there's one.

 

Still love that Rex.

 

Yeah I agree. Rex is still a bad@ss. One of the reasons I wanted Guardia is because he seems correct scale to have Rex and him in the same space on my shelf for a throw down.

 

Tempted by Guardia too, but I don't want teeny tiny limbs like Quantron if I decide to display them as robots. I know they're bigger but not sure how big so I'm waiting to find out.

Felisaber is on sale at Tfsource for 80 USD. Kinda makes it tempting as I generally love the MMC design.
