Anyone have any trouble contacting TFSource lately?

Usually they have been amazing for me customer service wise.

But this last time I contacted them about double billing me as well as the figure being faulty, they haven't responded.

I've written them 4 times about the matter through their page and through their email address.

Just seems really strange for them.

P.S. Kind of wish we had a dedicated sub-section for 3rd Party Company discussion. This one seems more like discussing the figures instead of the companies.

    Well, TFsource isn't a 3rd party company.

Usually with TFsource it can take anywhere from 3-5 business days to get a response.

Oh well I didn't think that one through, did I? haha

But yeah, it's been about a month since my initial attempt to contact them. I just sent them the 5th message a little while ago.

I really don't want to call my credit card company since they're normally great but this is strange and I'm out $120.

Anyway, just seeing if anyone else had the issue recently.

I think at this point you may want to get your CC company involved if it has been a month. If you've been charged twice, then one of the charges is disputable. Just getting them involved will probably get a respons out of TFsource.

    They've really been slipping lately.

With BotCon everyone is a little slow.. but 4 times over a month isn't good.
I would just call them; that has worked with me in the past. If you haven't got there number, look at your credit card statement and the number should be there or the bank can give it to you. If it has been a month of you being double charged with a bad figure, I would hope they would make it right with a little extra something.

It can take them a little while to respond but with summer being the season of conventions (and Botcon being just last weekend), there's definitely going to be a slowdown in customer service response. That being said, a month is a little excessive. Personally, I'd shoot them one more message and try to politely show your frustration towards the slow responses and if they didn't respond in a week, the next call I'd be making would be to my credit card company.

Actually TFSource has been very slow even outside of Botcon. I had a couple of issues with them in the past, and I have stayed far away from them. They really need to work on their customer service a WHOLE lot better.

A month is not a little excessive. A month is a lot of excessive. Competition among etailers is fierce, and it's examples like these that make me not use tfsource anymore. Matter of fact, the botcon Orion and hegemon set is the first order I've placed with them in almost a year. And that's only because I had to have that set.

I completely stopped ordering from them. Find a new etailer.

Try contacting them on twitter, they are pretty quick to reply. They probably cant help you directly on twitter, but they can help you get into contact with the department that can best help you.

Honestly I would ask them for their support phone number at this point though.

I got a "email server problem" line from them on facebook, It's frustrating too, they do have a decent supply and flow of used figs I like to keep watch on.

I messaged them on Facebook like suggested and someone answered within the hour.

They directed me to [email protected] (I was using [email protected] which worked not too long ago).

I emailed that address and someone replied within probably no more than half an hour.

They said they were updating their email system and never got the emails.

Anyway like I said, they've always been there for me so no biggie. Not sure why you guys have bad experiences with them. For instance, they are sending out a replacement part for my Fierce Attack and should be refunding my double charge.

    Thanks again everyone.

Thanks for following up to let us know it was resolved. I have a few things on pre-order with them and the bad news was concerning. Sounds like things have been resolved, which is great to hear.

Btw, I would have pre-ordered some of them from BBTS who I've also bought from in the past, but they require a credit card on file for pre-orders rather than accepting Paypal like TFSource does. BBTS also has poor security practices with their account creation (for example sending your password in a plaintext email, which also means it is stored somewhere on their server in plaintext) so I did not want them holding or processing Ccard info.

I can't recommend TFSource enough soley based on their customer service. I know for a fact many times they are late getting figures, but I always stay with them because I know from experience if something is wrong, they'll take care of it.

They've even gone above and beyond when they didn't have to. They let me cancel a pre-order that came in, was charged, but I hadn't shipped yet. It says right in their returns/refunds section that once it comes in and you are charged, no cancellations. I let them know I was having some money problems and they sent me a personal email saying they were sorry about the problems and they refunded me.

I still love TF source because of the free shipping... that alone adds up over BBTS but I used to take advantage of the freebies too. Until it stopped working for me.

I've contacted them 5 times about the points / freebies not working and I got the run around every damn time. I think they are slowly just ending the freebie system and not telling anyone.
