Venom should live on...for the reasons your said...plus it is freaking venom...

You know, I wonder if Sandman will play any role in the sequels, or if he even might get his own movie (he's the one villian who deserves it because of his big screen adaption IMO, though unlikely because of that other Sandman who's getting a movie). After all, he IS the only villian in the Spidey trilogy who wasn't killed.

 

Hey, I tried to help people, you'll be amazed how many people will still check out this thread even if they haven't seen the film no matter the warning. Just try to not spoil things for other people is all... I had kept the Batman Begins secret for whole 2 weeks so my friends can be surprised by it.

 

I hope to god that it's Harry, but I know it'll be Venom.

 

I'm thinking it might be Norman just to throw us a curveball with Venom/Symbiote returning in a later film.

 

If they bring back another Goblin (heck, even the same Goblin) I'll cry.

 

I am just glad they plan on bringing someone back.

The best parts of comic books\cartoons is when heroes and villains have an established relationships.
When they get adapted to movies the general consensus is that if an enemy appears in more than one movie the audience will feel like "been there done that".

It would be great to see movie Spidey get a return visit from one of his past villains.

Honestly, I think it'll be Venom. Remember, Dr. Connors still has a piece of the suit in his lab.

Hear me out for a minute. When Brock tries to save the symbiote, and it latches onto him, my guess is that it covers him, back into becoming Venom. But when you see the small piece of the symbiote burning at the end, it's because the bomb only caught that small part of Venom, but he managed to escape.

I guess it makes sense to me.

 

I know he wasn't in the movie but if you look when in the bugle there is a huge framed picture of doc ock and it says "still at large"

is it from the past or there something else going on?

Pretty sure I saw a whole skeleton get caught in the blast, but whatever, I know that one visual cue would hardly keep them from bringing him back if they wanted.

 

I saw that too. Remember that the symbiote has always had some degree of regenerative abilities for it's host, meaning that if the movie makers wanted to they could always have the symbiote saving a small fragment of Eddie's DNA or something.

Who knows?

 

I just got an idea, what if the peice of the sybiot still left at conners lab, laches onto, Eddie brock senior. Then we might see the huge bad ass venom we've all come to know and love.

 

Slightly off topic but wasn't there a scene in Spider-man 1 where JJJ and Robbie were trying to get a picture of Spider-man and Jonah says "Brock hasn't been able to get anything" or something like that?
