I like Ironhide. Prowl and Streetwise are identical. Wheeljack as Dead End just doesn't work.

The bots from this line are nothing but pure repaints with different heads. Not excited for these guys at all. I might cancel my pre-order.

When the aerialbots came out I was so excited for this whole line. Now that I have seen the same designs used for six different Transformers including core G1 guys, I'm almost pissed I bought any of them. Would it really have been that hard to make a couple more unique molds.

Two cars, two trucks, two jets, one helicopter, and a tank made into 36 figures.

What blows my mind is that they used obvious potential limbs for Legends. Shockwave would be great as a Cyclonus limb.

What is with the Dead End mold and not painting the bicep for vehicle mode?

Disappointed that Galvatronus has to bum his limbs from other teams. Really hoped that maybe the Aerialbot figures could get some new heads and some Decepticon repaints for the limbs. At the very least a Sweeps figure to make the arms and legs.

For the Prime repaint I think Nemesis Prime would have been a nicer touch than a white Prime repaint.

Maybe I'm just the minority but I'm happy to get all the repaints and new heads at retail prices. Kind of funny people will go crazy and shell out a crap load of money for a convention repaint but turn their nose up at retail repaints.

I might get Mirage or Smokescreen, I might be trying to collect Autobots of similar color schemes now.

Less blocky more accurate robot modes that DON'T look like a 3 step changer. Look at what 3rd party figures have done with their combiners. I'm expecting that. More articulation and paint aps. More accurate modes and less of this cheap transformation bullshit. Especially since the prices for these figures keep increasing and the quality keeps decreasing. What energon had going for it over these figures was the fact that they were at least fun and interesting. there were FAR LESS repaints and retools through the entire line. Hasblow is just a bunch of cheapskate artists who refuse to put effort into their figures anymore....You remember how accurate and awesome the War for Cybertron line was? How fantastic the ROTF Line was when it came to creativity and transformation? I should be at LEAST expecting that quality in todays figures. figures form 2009-2012 were BETTER than this..And they were cheaper. How sad is that?

Man, this is a Golden age for a new collector or kids just getting into Transformers. Just knocking a lot of big characters out with CW and they all freaking combine, how cool is that for kids!? I'm pretty much done collecting for characters, and most of this new stuff isn't for me, but for those that dig on this, don't let the haters get us down. I'm buying the crap outta Skylynx though.

What I would have liked to see was at least some different weapons. Would that have been so hard. The only one that vaguely works is Prowl with a shotgun, and that was Streetwise's. If anything they're getting cheaper. Smokescreen still has Prowl's lightbar! Why not swap heads!

Slap some black/navy and orange highlights on him, and he's a pretty decent Nova Prime

I'll pick up Mirage from this group, since I skipped the Stunticons and I enjoy F1. Not sure if I'll get any of the others though, maybe Sunstreaker...

I know I'm probably in the minority on this, but it kinda bugs me that we are getting so many new figures of characters who already have had releases under the Classics/Universe/Generations banners.

-Cyclonus, Hound, Ironhide, Sunstreaker, Smokescreen/Prowl (all Universe)
    -Mirage, Optimus, Megatron (Classics)
    -Trailcutter/breaker (Generations)

I understand releasing Classic-style versions of the combiners. I really love that idea and am stoked to get Menasor and Superion when their Unite Warriors versions are released. But I'm not a huge fan of all of these characters getting new toys when we just had new toys a couple of years ago! I'd much rather see the line focus on some guys who haven't had the retro treatment: Reflector (even though I have his G1 version), Abominus, Raiden, Liokaiser, etc. Hell, I'd even take a combiner-version of the Dinobots if they could pull it off! (And no, PCC does not count!)

I get that CW and Generations is following more with the comics, wheras Classics and Universe were just sort of a broad, collector-focused line with no media driving them. And, like I said, I'm in the minority, I'm sure. But one reason I haven't bought many TFs in the past two years is because I have a rule of only buying one version of a character (helps me control my cravings to buy, buy, buy). So I see a new version of Trailcutter/breaker, for example, and go, "Damn! I JUST bought you!"

Still, as long as the line does well, I'm happy. Hope you guys enjoy the 234th Classics-style version of Optimus Prime :)

My theory is that we'll get a Ratchet from First Aid, and they wanted more variety. Besides, they'd have to retool the SUV again to remove the siren.

I'm with you. The draw for these guys is that they combine. They were never going to be better than their Classics toys outside of that. For current IDW readers who don't remember the Scramble City characters, it makes sense. For us, well, there's always next wave.

I'm surprised that they didn't use First Aid to make Prowl to keep up with IDW. A police style SUV would look rather cool.

I never liked Blast Off as a shuttle. Too big, vehicle was never for combat, and doesn't fit in with the team. VTOL is perfect and sizes a tad better.

Because GOD FORBID a toy company is making stuff for kids.....Plastic is increasing in cost and hasbro has more toy lines that use plastic OTHER than transformers.. Third party companies can crank out masterpiece style stuff because that is their only product. People bitched and moaned about how hard the transformations on ROTF toys were..Hasbro listened. Then people bitched and moaned about how "It's not G1!" "IT's TOO HARD." "WHY NO ARTICULATION!?!?!" "WHY DON'T WE GET COMBINERS?!?!?!?" And low and behold, LOOK WHAT HAPPENED! We have a great line of ALL combiners, that LOOK g1, and have simple transformations, with plenty of articulation. Oh and here is a shocker... Transformers are toys FOR KIDS! You want high quality adult collector stuff? Go for the third party and masterpiece stuff! I know they cost a lot.. but hey $150 bucks for a third party deluxe is SO much better than a $15 deluxe. But I guess the detail makes up for it....
