I read you can attach the G1 Motormaster(I have a KO Menasor I got from Ebay) to Trypticon in base but I was curious if the 2001 version of Mega Octane would work sense they used the Onslaught mold for him.

 

It should.

 

Checked all the stickers on my Trypticon, they are quite easy to peel off. In fact some are already peeling out of the box.

 

That's unfortunate, though I suppose not completely unsurprising (thinking back to the Piranacon reissue).

 

Piranacon def has the worse stickers to date. The platinum conehead set has decent stickers tho, was hoping the trend would continue

I just picked up an original one last summer but I'd consider getting just the box for this release. I like the art work.

I posted this in the TFSource thread in the Toy forum, but FYI for people waiting, per TFSource it looks like this is supposed to be officially released in 10 days (matching up closely with Robot Kingdom's shipping date of the 23rd), but it may take awhile longer for it to reach TFSource due to its size.

I've also asked Chosen Prime when they expect it in, but no response yet.

Trypticon had still been in stock at TCP earlier this morning (I think).

Anyways, IF the Coneheads & Insecticons are any indication, Trypticon could become available later from other retailers. However, I don't think this is something anyone should be assuming yet.

As far as I know, Robot Kingdom is the only one that has a pre-order up still....

 

TFSource has reopened their Trypticon listing. On Facebook they state they've secured limited stock of additional preorders.

 

Some stickers are already peeling out of the box. Especially the ones on the legs. Same thing is happening with mine.

 

Kapow indicated that the supply of these would be limited and sold their preorder through in an hour!

 

It's absolutely ridiculous in this day and age of simplified communication that we can't get a response from Hasbro as to who will carry this and when. Extremely disrespectful of us.

 

Just preordered mine, TFS has their preorder back up.  

 

I'm just gonna be patient and wait until retail gets this, I'm not paying the huge upcharge on it.
