More than likely there will be. A lot of times when games are released, they focus on consoles as the initial selling point and then get a PC version announced after for PC. Same thing happened with FOC and other games like Metal Gear Solid V.

G1 or not this does have my interest. Platinum Games does have a good track record with a few exceptions and it does look to be fun, Playing as Grimlock sounds fun too and it would be cool if Arcee is playable later on too.

No, BW reinvigorated the franchise (as much as I personally dislike it), and every series has kept it fresh in the minds of kids ever since. All the Bay films did was bring in extra money to throw into a Classics line continuation, which then became self sustaining after the Bay lines failed at retail. Don't need to search Facebook for that one, just walk past the clearance section of any retail store.

Oh, there was one thing that Bay's movies brought into the franchise that no other media has: a bunch of mouthy entitled prepubescent typemachines that have nothing better to do than hang out in a thread dedicated to something they don't care about and fling shit like a rhesus monkey.
