Love it. This will be the SDCC exclusive for which I'll be scrambling most desperately this year, I expect.

On a non-TF note, I'm still keeping hope alive for a G.I. Joe set done in this style as well.

Topspin, but no Twintwist? I hope they have him in next year's set

When Hasbro was doing G.I. Joe reveals at JoeCon this year I swore I read that they had another item to announce for Joe that was Kre-O related.

They went through the trouble to get the rights to all three insecticons, but they're still calling the dinobots by their AOE names? Seriously? I can understand them changing slag to slug as to not offend any European attendees, but why did the others need their movie names? It's not so kids won't be confused, as this set is clearly marketed to collectors, besides that, with the scarcity of tickets, how many kids actually go to SDCC anyway? And what are the going to do in a couple years for the class of 1987 when actual strafe comes along?

    End rant

While I do find the dinobots' names annoying, it's a cute set and I'll consider picking it up.

Yup, I saw that as well, and was hoping it might be something like this. :)  There are enough A and B-level G.I. Joes who still don't have Kreons, or who could be done as a second version, and a set like this would do a great job filling those gaps.

So this is $60 for 30 exclusive Kreon figures in a fancy box. Where as BotCon has a set 6 Kreons in a baggie for $30? Yeah, so...FunPub is on crack! Their Kreons, just like all their other exclusives, should be HALF of what they're charging. Disgusting!

Ah, there's Smokey! Looks like I'll be getting this set. Hope it doesn't cost too much.

I also love what it says under him - "Most likely to copy your homework." :lol

Although half of these guys have already been available, I guess I'll be ordering this from HTS if I can get in there fast enough...

(And hopefully I'll see an uptick in helmet orders...)

Did they lose the name Swoop? Also, Slug should have been Sludge's new name and Slog should have been Slag's new name. That's closer than what it is now.

I'll agree its annoying. Its like if they suddenly started calling Spike Witwicky from the 80s cartoon and comics "Sam".

so much win in this set...

(plus, most of my favorite characters are from 85 ~ Smokescreen, Jetfire, Blaster, Omega Supreme, Skids, Grapple, Hoist, the Insecticons, Grimlock, Cosmos, Powerglide, Seaspray, Blitzing and Astrotrain...)

I seem to have a lot of kreos and kreons but I could not find last year's SDCC 1984 class set. If anyone has that PM me we can make a deal. Even so I'm still interested in this years set it looks nice
