It a booster for more speed. However Transmetal Beast Wars figures third modes were all officially labeled as vehicle modes in their instructions. Despite the fact most of them just looked like Beast Modes with vehicle parts slapped on.

Well, the small hilt has a storage spot under the back blue panel on the V Star. The hole matches the peg on the hilt. Definitely designed for that purpose and not in the instructions. The V Star's yellow missile pods are also not in the instructions, though it looks like most everyone knows about them.

Also, not really hidden features since they're articulation, but I don't see his ab crunch or his forward shoulder articulation utilized much.

I don't want to be rude and call BS on this BUT....that configuration can't work. It's just balanced on top, nothing holding firm. Can someone please prove me wrong?

The trailer from DotM Ultimate Optimus Prime fits perfectly on AoE Leader Class Optimus Prime.

I'm so sure they did it on purpose.

The hollow of the thumb is plugged onto the handle, I don't have the figure so I don't know how secure the connection is, but I'm pretty sure that's what's going on

It's not very secure at all. At least not with the Wildrider/Brake-neck version of the toy. Look at it wrong and it'll go askew or fall off.

The gap is so tight on my figures that I won't risk eventually cracking the thumbs by doing so.

Here's a quick snap of Dead End's and Wildrider's weapon being held as a tonfa, mentioned by Deadends Meds back a couple of pages.

And a place for Streetwise's weapon to be stored while in leg-mode.

Star Sabers shoulders swing forward and out from his body. It is so he can use two hands for his sword. It isn't a hidden feature.

i'm not sure if this has been mention,or even if it belongs here, but if you take cw breakdown in arm mode, then fold out his feet and windvanes,it'll make a good extension for the arms.

Legion Fix-It's drills can be removed and the holes are about 5mm.
