The head is white plastic on Cosmos on the same sprue as the neck piece inside the chest that the head is attached to. No other visible piece is in that colour.

If you look carefully at the above pic the neck piece looks like it is red too but it's hard to be sure

 

Did the original Adams have painted blue eyes? If so, that's a variant I don't have.

 

I dig it. I'm getting him and Powerglide. The app stickers come off so easily.

Huh. Hobbylink Japan's picture of Adams looks a lot better. The eyes look normal and its a very nice shade of green.

 

That does look a bit better but still they're way too tiny.

Yeah, much prefer the look of the first pics.

I was regretting not Pre-ordering him, but the regrets gone if the eyes look like in Yuki's photos and not like they do there.

 

I think in the new photos the eyes are a metallic paint and it just doesn't show up well with a flash or extra lighting.

I think in hand it will look better. That is so cool they matched the green up to the g1 toy.

The g1 toon cosmos is a different green altogether, almost like an army green. Has a variant of Cosmos over the years ever matched up to that?

Throw another in Adams and he can also be 'mysterious and spooky and altogether ooky.

for some reason i imagine he speaks like Bill Cosby

 

and Hallelujah for that. Though that's mostly because they couldn't find a place to stick one on the toy.

It's crazy just how few Cosmos toys have been made.

Just noticed that the dark green/black paint around the edge of the saucer's rim doesn't extend all the way around the back of the UFO. Odd design choice, that.

 

TAV20 Adams is what I imagine Cosmos would look like if he turned up on TF: Prime.

It would be the area with the most heat protection for re-entry.
