I'm still saying CW Voyager Soundwave/Blaster with the ability to hold a Legends class figure in their chest in the combined form.

Based on what we've been seeing, Bruticus is the wave after Maximus, then Computron. Then we start seeing all of the Autobot Cassette legends and Trailbreaker/Wheeljack/Smokescreen. Then we see the Decepticon Cassette legends.

    Which likely means:

    Wave 1: Superion
    Wave 2: Menasor
    Wave 3: Defensor
    Wave 4: Maximus
    Wave 5: Bruticus
    Wave 6: Computron?
Wave 7: CW Voyager Blaster (w/ Wheeljack/Trailbreak/Smokescreen/First Aid)
Wave 8: CW Voyager Soundwave -> Soundblaster?

*OR* Soundwave and Blaster come out in the same Voyager Wave. Blaster gets the limbs, and then the next few waves are cassettes for the two of them.

That idea is just too insane.

I don't know what happened to Brawn. Hopefully someone asks this at BotCon this year.

And Hasbro said Decepticons don't sell well. :lol

All of the cassette bots have been Legends scale though. So that *could* be what's happening but it'd mean they're stepping down a peg and making them Deluxe Torso + Legends Limbs.

I would be surprised is Soundwave was a combiner.

If there is a 2nd wave of Autobot limbs like Wheeljack etc it could be to go with Optimus Maximus. It seems like the limbs coming with Maximus are actually intended for CW Prime.

Legends Ravage Rumble and Wheelie cool. It would be great if this Wheelie looked like G1.

So far the trend has always been that the Deluxe Wave goes with a Voyager released at the same time.

    Wave 1: Ultra Prime/Superion
    Wave 2: Menasor/Superion
    Wave 3: Defensor
    Wave 4: Maximus

    Etc...

The Autobot Cars are coming with Maximus and a revived Motormaster. So it makes sense they'd pair with Maximus and Rodimus.

Now, the next wave looks after that looks to be Bruticus. So I'm guessing the Voyager wave would be Onslaught and either Hotspot or Cyclonus/Silverbolt (even possibly the Scattorshot we saw listed)

So then if there's another wave of Autobot Cars coming in the Deluxe class, they'll need an Autobot Voyager to go with. And it'd have to be a *new* one. So that could be Blaster, who then gets repainted to Soundwave.

That would leave Soundwave as somebody like CW Prime and Cyclonus who don't have their own "official" limbs in the toyline. But he would get paired with some Legends figures like we're seeing in the Maximus wave (both Blackjack and Rodimus are shipping in the Legends Wave, and Cyclonus has Viper).

That's pretty much what I was thinking. We've already had Decepticon Seekers from the usually larger Jetfire. A Shockwave from Leader Megatron is also possible.

We do have CW's Galvatronus, but that could be considered as a version of the Deceptigod.

I wouldn't be surprised if we get Leader-class versions of Galvatron and Rodimus Prime, next year. It will be the anniversary of the original Transformers movie (as well as Beast Wars), after all. There does seem to be some G1 movie-related thinking involved in some of the latest figures we've been getting - Devastator, Ultra Magnus, Arcee, Springer, King Starscream and apparently, Wheelie. Perhaps we could get some more Generations Dinobots and Quintessons/Sharkticons, too.

consider for a moment how badly decepticons have been getting shafted for leader class figures in recent years though?

No Leader Cons in Dark of the Moon
No leader Cons in Age of Extinction
No Leader/titan cons in Generations Thrilling 30

so yeah, im quite alright with 5 Leader class combiner wars decepticons. especially since 4 of those 5 are retools/redecoes

another thing to consider is how horribly outnumbered Decepticon Combiners are going to bee in the near future
    Devastator and Menasor, maybe Bruticus
    vs
Superion, Defensor, Victorion, Ultra Prime, and maybe Computron and the possibility of yet another batch of 84 combiner bots
3 vs 6 not exactly fair
