Good christ, I'm sick and tired of cross gen. The last 2 years were fucked up by it

 

Good. NV was held back by the console versions, but at least 4 won't be even more held back, and that goes for each platform.

 

Ok the NV part is BS because fallout 3 was bigger and ran better, even on the last gen

 

3 runs like shit now, so that's wrong.
But because of the console version, content was cut out of NV. It was planned to be much larger.
I'm looking for the source right now.

Edit : Alright, I can't find it, but there's a lot pointing towards it. Locations being smaller, like there being two parts of the Strip and Freeside being split as well. Wild Wasteland content was cut as well.

 

The world's that Bethesda makes are huge with tons of stuff going on. I expect it to be a big step up from part 3 and NV just because it's been so long, but it's never been about being the most graphically intense worlds. For me, it's been about somehow making me compelled to explore every nook and cranny of said world. Maybe I will run across a town with a crazy story and situation, maybe I will find a new creature, maybe I will find a new vault that was home to a crazy new experiment, maybe I will find a book or a bobble head that will increase my stats. For some reason, both with Bethesda's Fallout and Elder Scrolls games, I wanted to see everywhere even if the props and models and voices were used a million times over. Many other companies have tried this with sprawling open worlds, but nothing has made me care to explore so much.

So, who cares if it doesn't look as good as Witcher 3? I just want to be in that world.

 

THANK YOU. Graphics don't fucking matter. It's Fallout, it never had spectacular graphics in the first place. What matters is the story it manages to tell.

I wasn't being PCMR. I was just stating things WHICH HAVE HAPPENED IN THE PAST.
Games HAVE been held back by consoles, it wouldn't be surprising.
Fallout NV has TONS of cut content. Consoles holding it back is just a likely reason.

If you didn't want this to happen you wouldn't have called BS and simply ignored what I said like an actual reasonable human being.

Seriously though guys, let's be better than that, okay? I've always found TFW's Videogames & Tech forum to be 100x better than most of the other full gaming sites out there, since we're all mature here and have our heads screwed on right and don't partake in utterly pointless and stupid console wars, pc master race crap, and all the other bullshit that commonly goes on at those other garbage sites.

Anyway, not surprised it's next gen exclusive. Oh well, now I finally have a reason to upgrade to a PS4.
