So who seems better: Slug or Grimlock? Slug seems just like a better batman prime to me. Definitely worth farming for.

 

We may need a "wild card", given our team's current situation (Team BSJ has been a top 200 team in any event we've actively competed in - until this previous event due to numerous member issues). I'll keep you in mind as the event goes along as we may need that last push to get us back in there.

 

You get a free blitzwing on second map of hard. Good for newer players I guess.

And you get a snarl core on third map of hard. So I guess it's definitely possible to get him if you farm hard campaign.

 

halfway through 3rd medium map... free blitz? damn my goal be to have a dozen then lol

 

Also looks like after the 10 energon you get from playing easy, no more energon after that. Haven't gone through extra hard yet, but I doubt they would give energon in extra hard. Also, so far, no team restrictions. I wouldn't put it past DeNA to change the event and put faction restrictions later on to make it more challenging.

Maps for extra hard is looking like:

1: 3 Battles (20,000 cybercoin is first crate, Blitzwing (or some Super Rare) for 2nd Crate)
2: 3 Battles (50 Gold is first crate, slug core 2nd crate)
3: 6 Battles

The first three difficulties are pretty manageable if you have a decent team. I haven't lost a bot yet. I'm using Vortex, Ratrap, Blast off and alternating kickback/brawl/swindle at certain points. Just made it to extra hard but I have no cubes at the moment so I guess it was time to take a break.

 

Really? I beat hard and never got blitzwing, I got brainstorm instead

New update has bricked my phone.

Any attempts to update the game fail, and the attempt to uninstall and re-download the game has caused "Google Play", as well as my phone to freeze upon receiving the notification "package invalid".

Anyone have an advice or have this happen to them? I'm running a first gen version of android.


Also, what are my options if I were to switch and play on my wifes Iphone? Can I sync my data over two different types of OS?

 

Ok so then hard might be manageable.... gonna hafta level up some other characters in case I lose some... but my team so far is quadra slamming everything. I'm running max vortex, max blades, lvl 16 inferno and lvl6 hot spot

 

That's weird, I wonder if they are changing up the crate rewards like people suggested.

Edit: Just got another Blitzwing on first map of hard, 2nd crate.

 

As long as you get first strike, you should be good on Hard with that team. Not sure how much HP lvl 6 Hot Spot has, but you might need to absorb some damage towards the end, especially when you face Menasor that could possibly roll 65, 77 attack.

Extra Hard is already looking pretty hard though after second battle. 2nd Battle is Slug, Scourge, Spinster, Alligator Megatron. For some inexplicable reason, Slug did a Decoy on the second round and I evaded all damage with my Blades. I probably would've lost one character if the computer didn't do that. I think he still had 40-50 HP left.

Yeah, I gave it ten tries with that team and never came close to beating it. Ten fails on one battle is my limit, so done with today.

 

Got destroyed on second fight of extra hard. Went up against Scourge, Alligator Megatron, Spinister and Snarl

 

50 gold for first crate of extra hard map 2...higher rewards means higher difficulty...can't get much harder than this.

 

Anyone else notice your characters stats have been changed again? I noticed back when I first started playing that Astrotrain's stats changed, weaker numbers but had the hotshot added. Now it looks like characters were given weaker attacks again like Jackpot's napalm is now 10. Why even mess with that stuff the way the event characters keep boosting.
