I find it hard to refer to them as "events" anymore, since they start on Thursday, end on Tuesday and give you basically a day to not be feeling like you should be playing every two and a half hours on the button lest you get left behind and miss out on imaginary prizes. I think realising that this one is the second or third event in a row with no easily achievable new characters has killed it for me, the game is officially "unfun".
Agree, the frequency in which the event are rolling it will kill the game sooner or later. It gave me the empty feeling yesterday when there is no event points to farm.
I honestly just wish I could play I've had connection error since day one and I email their support team constantly and I get no support just another day in the life of a DeNA developed game
The front page description needs to be corrected. Dinobot is a Maximal in the game, not a Predacon. The key there being "DeNA developed game". They publish mobile games made by other companies (like Final Fantasy Record Keeper by Square Enix) that don't suffer from connection problems (or any of DeNA's other signature problems).
It was a fun game until I got to....... whatever level I'm at now. You can't get stronger characters unless you want to pay real money or you can win the events. And winning the events WON'T happen unless you spend all your time/money on this thing. So you can play the computer and it's not too bad. but playing other live players, you just get your ass handed to you when someone has all event characters.
I've only got a handful of exclusive characters and Armada Megatron left to unlock. DeNA would do well to start adding LVL5 characters to the regular unlockables for those of us who are "Veteran 1" and higher. Making the rest of the unlockable characters mostly unreachable event characters will have me putting this game down pretty fast.
Well, actually the Combaticons are easy to get and very powerful. I run a team of all max level Combaticons minus Onslaught, and they can stand up to even the newest event characters when the enemy is a live player. That being said, it should REALLY be a lot easier to get cores. I'm still missing Onslaught.
Vortex is worth getting, but the rest are of moderate use at best. Swindle is effectively worthless. If you haven't got a team of First Strikers with bonus AOE attacks or synergy armour/attack buffs then you're kind of wasting your time after you can unlock Rares normally.
