I know man we covered that, renting a car is only 50 per day. You could probably only rent two days, once there then return it, then rent again and drive to the airport. Would be around $100.00.

I can't say which is better. Each have their advantages. They are both great shows, as is the relatively new CybFest NW :)

To anyone who is concerned about transportation to and from O'Hare, I just booked a rental car through priceline for $108 for all four days (18th-21) all inclusive w/ unlimited mileage. Might be worth looking into with the shuttle issue up in the air.

Got my Iacon package. Registration was glitchy as hell though and couldn't decide on how much to charge for shipping.

I noticed that as well. I know I saw 3 different shipping cost for the same package. Did you get a confirmation email yet? I normally would not give it a second thought but I lost all confidence in this process 2-3 weeks back. It's been nothing but worse since.

I've got nothing so far. I'm also really worried my order didn't get through, and there seems to be no way to check.

Well, got my non-attending order in. No confirmation email, but I see my credit card already has a hold on the requisite amount. So I'll take that as confirmation.

I spend a $1k on non essential purchases to attend BotCon.

    I refuse to spend $100 to rent a car:lol

There's been a lot of talk about transpiration from airport to hotel. I've never been to any convention I had to fly to so I'm curious if other shows provide transportation from the airport? I already have a service taking me and my best friend (he set it up actually) to the hotel and taking us back to airport on Sunday. I'd rather a service then have to worry about where the hell I'm driving using a rent a car.

Same boat for me. However, off the back off the following post.

I left it on the "Success" page, but came back to see it had refreshed to that same image/status.

I love the set but really can't afford it! :(

Where's the cheaper, Legends option, FanPub? :D  (All they have to do is pose them with Metroplex and they'd sell, I tell ya!!!)
