So far it only shows that my one order is processing. I sent them an email for my other issue though.

I'm confused, I thought parking was free?

Yeah I think hotel guests will get a voucher or something to put on their cars, while general attendance people who aren't staying there have to pay for parking or pay for the voucher for their cars.

I edited my post, the brochure (top left corner of page 5) and their FB page clearly say free parking.

So what for the 40 people that were able to get into the hotel? So still no shuttle and now the free parking is $9

    Additionally, from the FAQ:

Q: Will there be shuttles from other hotels to the convention center?
A: No, but parking is free at the venue.

The Transformers Collectors' Convention - BotCon 2015!

Botcon needs to clarify who, if anyone, has to pay for parking and who doesn't, ASAP.

    From Botcon's Facebook Page:

Thanks for mentioning that. Parking is free. We will correct the error on the site.

So that puts that to rest.....hopefully....

No shuttles sucks. Period. Way to make ppl to be put into another shitty situation. Location was bad enough.

Welp, now that I have internet access again I can report that as of 12:50 I have passed registration.

Unfortunately I had to use my phone to register because Mediacom has been down most of the day for between 6 to 13 states depending on who you get your info from. It took 19 minutes on my phone, but I was able to fully register and secure two booths for the show.

I was somehow able to secure a VIP for Frank on Sat despite being #389 on my Invoice.

Isn't that normally the case though? Don't you normally need to rent a car if you are flying somewhere?

I honestly don't know, every JoeCon or BotCon I go to I usually drive. If I fly, I either have a car available or I'm renting a car. I can't imagine going and not arranging transportation for myself.
Pretty sure I've only flown to one, I think JoeCon in San Jose. I either had a rental or used my brother-in-laws.

Got everything sorted out and I'm all registered. Got me a shirt and a Primus package, and my mom a mini-con package. Might get an unpainted customs class figure depending what it is after the show. But as of right now, I'm all set and ready to go.

Nope. Normally it's within normal distance of an Airport instead of an hour away. In that case almost every hotel in the area has a shuttle from the airport. Since this is an hour away no hotel shuttles.

Funpub really picked a shitty location. 1 hour away from Chicago and major airports. They could of easily picked the Donald E Stephens convention center in Rosemont. O'Hare offers shuttles from the airport to the convention center/the hotel connected to it. Plus, there are tons of hotels near the actual con center itself. Keep in mind, back when Botcon was OTFCC, this is where they held the cons

Well one more day for the non attending set. Better than the 2-3 days originally suggested. I guess that's a bright spot in this registration disaster.

So since the tours are in Chicago, how is travel arranged for that? How was that not done to and from airport?

It's worth noting that it's only the possibility of a hotel-to-hotel shuttle that they've shot down, though. (It's worth noting, though, hotel does offer a local shuttle. The availability on it is apparently just kind of iffy.)

The last we've heard on the airport-to-hotel/hotel-to-airport shuttle is still the blurb in the information packet to check back for updates. Hopefully they get their butts in gear on that.
