It would be a shame if this doesn't get made, as it is a really nice design, but honestly... I think Takara will do Sunstreaker anyway, so I'm not gonna cry over it.

 

Stay Calm & Carry On. Apollyon was supposed to be done in December, and at least had a factory produced prototype. And that didn't get released until May. I think the preorder didn't go up until March & Omnigonix has admitted that they showed us Spinout too early. If he doesn't at least get a factory prototype by July, then you can panic, but before then I'm not too worried.

 

I'm sure not-sunstreaker will get made, but it probably won't hit a may deadline, I'm hoping for at least by the end of june.

 

I'm thinking June is too optimistic personally...I'd be surprised if we see this in hand before September...which is fine really as long as it's a good figure

Just like everything else, it's just a date made so we can preorder. How many figures were ever released on original maybe date?

Fwiw, Brandon at TCP mentioned it has been delayed in a recent email to me. I wouldn't worry about it too much, just enjoy what's out like Megatron and others coming soon for sure and wait till more news about his comes. And yes, I realize how futile it is to ask this group now to worry and have patience.

 

I have enough figures I'm paying for already. This can wait a month or 2 so I can save up a bit for him.

 

Yeah, I've had this guy planned into my annual budget for around June since the beginning of the year, but I think it's safe to say I can push him back a bit. I don't think we should all panic about cancellation, but I don't see this arriving before June, otherwise we'd be seeing some color test shots by about now.

That's perfectly okay, though, as it frees up 95 dollars for me to put towards the US MP Starscream release this summer in the meantime.

Nothing officially confirmed yet, but a listing for Masterpiece Starscream has been found in Toys R Us's systems. Considering TRU has never carried a MP Screamer before, TRU has released a Seeker a year for the past three years, and it was found around the same time as Bluestreak (who has been confirmed) was found, it's an extremely likely release at this point. Many are betting it will be revealed around Comic-Con time. Similar things have happened in previous years with other MP releases, and have happened this year with some of the Classics and RID releases.

 

Got it, I saw a few posts about it and saw the item number for TRU system but couldn't find much more info besides that. Makes sense now, thanks for the info!

 

I was thinking this was going to be the MP- 11 mold, but now I think it's a redeco of CW Leader Class Thundercracker. I'd love to be wrong though and get another MP-11 Screamer.

It was cancelled last week, Takara bought the design, too bad for us!

 

.....Seriously canceled has been shouted so many times in this thread it's getting silly. As soon as some one says it gets proven wrong. Can we stop bumping this thread till new information comes in? They are probably busy getting this ready for market and working out the final bugs.
