So now that more people are starting to get this guy in hand, does anyone have a wishlist for option parts? Like alternate leg panels, or some booties for his footsies, a translucent chain to match his mace, a throne that looks like a certain monument from a certain city, maybe some cans of energon for the beer helmet?

 

The huge blob of grease (right elbow and forearm) isn't nearly as delicious as it looks. Neither is the Nerd part...

 

The only thing I want is the teased alternate face.

Opened up my Apollyon today. Wow after waiting 30+ years... this guy is awesome! Did a quick look over, everything seems perfect to me. The orange plug in the gun barrel pretty much fell out on its own but the plug in the silencer took a little more work to get out. I had to use some pliers, gave the plug a quick turn back and forth then I was able to pop it out with the screwdriver.

 

This is the exact group of figures I'm working on, yours look fantastic together!!! Really glad to see warbo's bruticus with the group, I get my last pieces for him in the mail tomorrow and seeing how good he looks with the others is making me that much more excited to build him up this weekend!

 

Hi! What size sticker are people using for his chest? Was gonna order from reprolabels eventually and want to get it right  

 

Nice. I should have mine soon. Still waiting on my Ocean's and probably gonna' go with them but those samples were so cheap, I figured it'd be dumb not to get them and see how they compare.

 

Hey guys, I received my Apollyon yesterday but am having a dilemma that I hope you guys can talk me out of or into depending, I am apprehensive on opening him because I don't want it to a: break or b: be a lemon so to speak. Do you guys think I should sell it and wait for the second run or just go for it and open him up and enjoy it to the fullest extent that I can. Any advice is helpful. Don't know if this helps but I got it from BBTS.

No matter what you buy regardless of which run you get, you never know til you open it up. Life is too short... Give it a go!

I used a 12mm sticker and think it looks perfect. It's ever so slightly larger than the insignia on MP-13's chest for reference.

opened mine up. initial reaction is its a very solid figure with good QC. the shoulders needed a little clear nail polish, done.

he is a looker though. makes me wanna sell mp-05 and mp-01 with a quickness actually... and i really liked them but now they look superfluous... and Apollyon really does outshine MP-05 side by side...

 

mine came in opened there are purple x transbot stickers covering over his emblem below and where they opened it up top.

Why the hell Is this opened I ordered a new one un opened, don't say it's opened so they could install the caps because the caps were already installed from the factory so what gives with this?

 

I'm so torn, not sure if I should send it back or try to fix it. I have one that is flaw free but one legged.





On a different note, does anyones back most grip kibble actually peg in when in bot mode? I'm wondering if a little can be shaved off this part with no consequence in gun mode.

 

Probably opened at the factory so they could clip the tabs that prevented full bicep swivel. If X-Transbots put the stickers on what would be the big deal that the box was opened? I'm genuinely not sure why that would be upsetting, and I am looking for clarification, not trying to start trouble. If the tape is there it means no one outside the factory and company has touched your toy. Mine had the tape too, it means factory sealed. A lot of companies do that.

 

I'm looking for the picture(s) that shows Apollyon in gun mode next to a real Walther P-38 and a magazine and some bullets sprinkled for good measure. Can someone help? Thanks.
