Yes, yes they are the platinum reissue. I have a nice review of them on the review board. Feel free to check it out. :)

Glad there are differences to distinguish them from the vintage stuff, but at the same time it looks like I'll just keep my originals.

Yes, no GPS here, pretty solid plastic. It's made out of the same Hasbro/Takara stamp that they used for the European Rescue Force blue Killbison.

I wish the Chinese had a Black Zarak too...

thanks for that review! Looks like I won't be replacing them in my collection... maybe just upgrading them then.

I'm pretty sure that leg stamp will rub right of with some rubbing alcohol.

Was wondering what a price range would be for sealed 87 Headmasters Brainstorm, Highbrow, etc? No apparent recent sales on eBay.

Complete loose headmasters usually go in the $100 range. Mib closer to $200.

Those are nice headmasters! Ive always wanted to own one, tho a decent boxed one can be so costly.

My complete G1 Bruticus came in today. Hopefully I can post pics over the weekend :)

A very nicely done custom. I'm still waiting for a MIB one to come along that's not going to break my bank too badly. In the meantime, some quick pics of another completed sub group. I think I've posted some of these photos recently but I thought it'll look nice to have all four shown again. Sorry for the spam.

Going to pick up a nice little g1 collection after work today. I have most of the stuff but the lady said she has a lot of extra accessories and has no idea what they go to. She sold me on that :) . It's been a while since I got any g1!

I find Artfire such an useless character. He never showed up in the Headmasters anime, but in the manga in one story only I think. Just a repainted Inferno with the (repainted?) targetmaster from Scourge.

His rarity and lack of reissue makes him worth the $$$, pretty much like all the expensive figures.

    Nice pics guys!

That's true. Artfire is rare for real. Unlike other Japanese exclusives that aren't rare at all, but fetch insane prices even in poor condition, ie Black Zarak.

I'm pretty impartial when it comes to packaging, but I have quite a few boxes for figures. What are your guy's thoughts on having boxes signed? i.e. Having Kojin Ono sign my Diaclone Starscream box.

I don't buy as an investment, but wonder if it would add or detract from the supposed "value", or just make it some kind of oddity? Thoughts?
