Mine came from TFSource and is not what I would call bad. There are some minor scratches, but nothing major. Shoulder joints are loose as documented. Nothing is broken that I can tell. Transformation to gun mode and back is fine... Gun mode wasn't super solid, but I'm sure I just needed to fiddle with it a little more. The most annoying thing is that the cannon light mechanism doesn't work as designed (works, but requires creative fiddling and will not stay on without continuous pressure on the switch).

Overall, he poses well and transforms. Any issues I have are design-related and minor at worst.

 

Yea, not sure where he got that impression. Only consistent knocks at TFS have really been towards the smartpost shipping.

I'm looking at mine right now and it doesn't have those indentations. I have not installed the other shoulder parts. I'm putting extra coats of nail polish to tighten them up.

 

part of me doesnt want to take the chance of transforming him and finding a problem. because even if the problem is there now, but i dont know about it..... so its not a problem. im B+ level happy with bot mode. i hate the idea that a F grade alt mode transformation will ruin bot mode


im going to transform him tonight while watching the eastern conference finals... but boy part of me is like DONT DO IT! even though every QC test ive thrown at him he has passed.


my cannon lit up beautifully last night using energizer batteries marked 376/377 for the random person who has those batteries and is curious



i just wish the ball joints had ridges of some sort to throw a little more friction into the ball joint socket

 

Well, that thing feels awesome in hand. Good weight, nice and tight joints all over, plug super easy to remove... my perfect Megatron has finally arrived.

I feel the same. I always like to transform my TFs at least once but i'm realy worried about Apollyon. I even didn't transform my Transistor because I was worried about paint chipping. You're going to transform Apollyon while watching TV? I would lock myself in a soundproof room and FOCUS. haha.

I got 2 from them. Both top notch.

 

I got two from TFSource and one has the broken flap on the leg out of the box. Other than that, no major issues with both of mine. Hopefully TFSource can send me a replacement piece and its all good!
