I love it and it's above the quality if both the sideswipe and seeker molds in my opinion only. megatron is very complex and they did it... It's a huge win for me.

Happy to report that I got a good one....no noticeable issues, dimples are virtually nonexistent, and the paint is great on it. He wasn't out of the box for 15 minutes before he started enslaving everything in sight though....kind of scared to sleep tonight....

 

I'm the same. Especially with how delicate masterpiece style(official and 3rd party) seem to be. The cheapo stuff like chugs are the only ones I feel like I can mess around with

I had actually told myself, "You have no issues. Do you really want to transform this and risk damaging it? Just leave it alone." But I just had to see that gun mode with stock and silencer. After this? I doubt I'll transform him again. The gaps, like I said, aren't atrocious, but they weren't there pre transformation so it bothers just a bit.

I usually only transform them if I have to to get it in bot mode from the package (Bad Cube, Takara, a few others). NoNE of my FT Dinos or Quakewave, Hasbro MP-10, MP-13, MP-11s, Kronos, Green Giant ... have or ever will be transformed.

For me these are ideal representations of the cartoon, toy and comic characters I've loved since '84. That they CAN transform is enough for me.

After looking at all the reviews, I will probably not transform Apollyon. so I took an expensive decision. I like to display the toy evolution of specific characters. For Megatron, I will display Apollyon on bot mode just in front of a just ordered MP-5 in gun mode. The best of both worlds; the perfect illusion and representation!

I agree. CHUGs are toys and are meant for childrens`hands, so they can take some abuse. I don`t want to force my MP`s joints and hinges, there are many pieces I don`t trust  

Same here, I want some nice characters from my childhood standing on my shelf, so I transform my MPs from alt mode to robot mode and that`s it. Only exception would be the Dinobots, I can`t decide which mode I prefer more

Hm, from MP 10 onwards, I've never felt afraid transforming any one of them. It seems they've been built do handle playing.

 

I don't care what others think, in my opinion this figure is a huge success for XTB and a pleasure to have in my collection.

 

Still haven't received a response from bbts customer service. Just need to vent here a bit so please no one take this personally.

I've seen multiple complaints regarding scratched paint, loose panels, weak ankles, weak shoulders, and so on. And in these comments I see people saying they are exchanging or requesting replacement parts. IMO these are not reasons to request replacement parts. These are easy fixes or nit picks.

An air bubble in the molding of a joint causing it to be weak is an actual qc issue.

I understand the minor quibbles, but where does it end? Even takara has paint issues, loose joints. It just irks me that there are those with minor cosmetic issues that request replacements when there are those that have actual issues not being heard.

Vent over. Again no disrespect to anyone in particular.
