just enter "IDW" as the code when buying any IDW comic this week for 50% off. Doesn't apply to new comic releases, so you won't get this week's MTMTE and RiD for cheap.

Oh, that's awesome - just filled the holes I had in my digital MTMTE and not-RID collections. :)

According to the list of the 29 series included, not-RID isn't included...?

Awesome. Got myself 4 Collections of Ghostbusters and Collection 2 of Judge Dredd. :)

Wish there was something like this for Marvel. Some of their collections are ridiculously expensive. Like 17 or 24 Euro.

Those super expensive collections by Marvel usually have loads more of content though, Infinity (30.99) contains 27 issues, while a typical idw trade for about 9 euros contains 4 to 5 issues.
And Marvel does have fantastic sales on comixology, especially the past few weeks over, like the buy one, get one free sale.

Thanks for the heads up, I'll see if there is anything I'm interested in.

All IDW comics are applicable for the sale, not just the few series they show on the sale page.

Yeah, I finished up my run of the Marvel US Classics collections (I needed the last two volumes) and the UK Classics (vol. 3-5). With any luck I'll get caught up on all those before UK Classics vol 6 comes out later this year.

I ought to take advantage of this. Adding to my Tf collection.

Also, any of you guys know which of the Ghostbusters and TMNT series are good? I'd like to buy a few collected editions, but have no idea which are worth my money. Not to mention that there are sooo many of them. Any help?

No idea about Ghostbusters, the first one was utter trash so I stayed away from all of them.

As for TMNT, get the main idw ongoing series and its minis and spinoffs.
    Both Microseries Heroes and Villains
    Turtles in time
Secret History of the Foot Clan
    Utrom Empire
    And the two annuals
There's also the Mutanimals, but the trade's not out yet

The idw continuity is awesome and uses the best things of every previous incarnations. The only negative thing is that all the minis and spinoffs are required reading and have an odd reading order.
Damn, I just realized I should have waited with some of the trades...

Sorry for continuing the off-topicness, but would you really consider Turtles in Time as "required"? So far I haven't seen any ramifications of their time-travel on the main storyline.

It explains a whole lot of stuff, and expands on previously touched on things, it also shows us their future and destiny. I'm also pretty sure that at least one of the things shown in it, that's not an expansion of a previous event, will play a bigger role later on. Secret History of the Foot Clan took a bit before it payed off.

The mini's events basically spell out doom for the Turtles, while negating the happy "we can change this" thought they have at the end.

I've shared this with others since it's a good way to get people into IDW's titles(mostly MTMTE) but I'm bummed that Not-RiD isn't included in this line up. I would've liked to have gotten my collection up-to-date.

It is though, everything but the current issue of every series is part of this. All you have to do is type "IDW" into your cart before checking out, and everything gets the 50%.

Yep. And IDW is part of Comixologiy's DRM free set, so you can download the issues in PDF or CBZ format and read the issues outside of the Comixology app or website.

    Hey all, quick question.

I have the first ~4 issues of the US Classics from the first Transformers Humble Bundle + the first collection of Regeneration One. With the sale on Comixology, I was thinking of maybe finishing this collection. I havent' started reading it (been too busy with the current IDW line) and was wondering if people thought it was worth grabbing the rest of the series. It'd be ~$35 to get everything else I'd need (Classics V5-7, Regeneration One V2-4) but I've heard mixed reviews on the series. Plus, that $35 could be going to other things, like the current IDW TMNT run (which I've started, and is excellent.)

    Thoughts?

Personally I would go with the TMNT, that series just gets better and better.
I never enjoyed the original Marvel TF run, from all the stories I've read, the only ones I consider to actually be any good as comics (ignoring historic roots for our hobby) are the couple of UK stories I've read. And from what I've kept hearing, Regeneration one starts of pretty good (in context with the original comics) but quickly devolves into something disappointing.

So I say, go get the TMNT comics now, you have read them and said they're good, and postpone the Classic TF comics. Read the ones you already have and decide if it's something you want to continue reading. There will be another sale, maybe even one of the 70% off variety, in the future, plus that continuity is over and won't be going anywhere, while you can use this to catch up on TMNT and see a "living" continuity evolve.
