Accessory set based on Dark of the Moon for Movie Optimus Prime - there's a tease for sets 6 and 7 which looks like they will eventually do the trailer too for all these to go on, but that looks to be another story for another thread on another day.

So this is supposed to make the AOE Prime look like DOTM Prime?

 

Just looks like an accessory pack to me, and a welcome one, seeing as for 90% of the AoE movie Optimus used his shotgun and sword from DotM.

OH YEAH!  Finally! I've been wanting someone to release an accessory line for Voyager Movie Optimus toys, especially since EM OP only came with Megatron's gun. I can't wait for these, especially if the weapons ring turns into a trailer, although it doesn't look like it. Also the DOTM/AOE cannon looks a little small.

 

Now we just need a jetwing on it. Although some of these accessories do work on both DOTM and AOE Optimus

 

I want it. However, I would like an axe for the voyager class optimus.

I've been waiting a while for news of a new FansWantIt set and while I'm slightly disappointed (after FWI-4 and 4 I was expecting something bigger) this is still really cool! The weapons look nice and detailed, are are really cool for a Voyager Prime. Maybe they can somehow fit with others than just the Evasion Prime.

What I find interesting is the silhouette of the weapins ring saying FWI-5, FWI-6, and FWI-7. It had the various weapons, shields, and the wings from the screen accurate Jetwing on there. Maybe this will be a Voyager scale trailer, or just the weapons ring. Should be interesting. I love the UFO trailer, couldn't ask more from an actual transforming trailer and I'd say its necessary for any Movie Prime collection, but something that gets the exact look of the weapons ring right would be cool.

Some of these weapons really peak my interest BUT only because I'd use them on my HFTD Optimus Prime and not EM Prime. To me the weapons like the swords, the shield, and the "striker" gun are specifically from DOTM Prime. I know AOE Prime used the swords and gun but for me these weapons are for an original movie Prime mold. Plus if FWI is making a weapons ring in a voyager scale that absolutely fits the HFTD Prime mold better. I really love what FWI had done with their Jetwing set and will absolutely got this. But, FWI if by some crazy chance that you read this, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE GIVE US THOSE SWORDS WITH THE UPRIGHT HILT IN A LEADER SCALE!

 

Well, hopefully this will be placed at a decent price. I had several thoughts of selling my voyager DOTM Optimus Prime, but I'm kind of glad I kept it. Unfortunately when my parents and I moved (don't worry, I'm 17) his MechTech weapon broke, so these would be excellent replacements.

 

These weapons work equally well for AOE Evasion Mode Voyager Optimus and ROTF/DOTM/Advanced (Takara Lost Age) Battle Blades Voyager Optimus, I think. Just hope the hitch for the trailer is compatible with both molds.

I've been a fan of all of FWI's releases (having gotten all of them with double dips when I can) and looking forward to this one as well!

I can't say on price but based on their FWI-4 which they teased in December 2013 and was actually released in July 2014, this could take maybe round the same time. Except with this tease it looks like they're in the "gray" model phase of the project so it could be even sooner.

One thing we should keep in mind though is the fact that the teaser for the weapons ring said FWI-5, FWI-6, and FWI-7 so these could possibly be split up into multiple sets that could be released at different times.

 

Looks interesting and I wouldn't mind having more accurate weapons for Op, either. But it's not something that screams "must buy" for me. Then again, I'm not big on upgrade kits in general.

Cool option for those who want it, though.

HFTD Optimus Prime does not have 5mm holes. None of these weapons are for that particular mold.
