Can someone explain why he has that either big clown smile or grimace on his face. I like the face sculpt except for the big dark line that almost looks like a deformed mouth. I may have to put some putty in there and repaint his face. Hope it is not part of the transformation.

I really like the torso mode, but I don't actually feel like it gels with the CW figures at all. Might be nice when Bold Forms come out with their own limbs though.

 

Same here, the "Joker" face is off putting

 

I'm liking this more and more after putting my CW Menasor together but I'm still not sure I'm sold. In particular, the stock feet and hands suck (IMO) and for the price they are asking for this it would be nice to get those thrown in there.

I'm guessing I'll wait and see what this ends up looking like as I wouldn't want to have to buy this and the PE kit to get an "OK" Menasor. Shame since I like the limbs a lot.

 

This wasn't on my radar originally but I have to admit that this is looking more and more interesting. All three modes are nicely done, especially combined mode.

 

I really hope they will follow through with this project. I eagerly wait for a review on it. If it is not utter crap, I will pick this up. Aesthetically, I really prefer this to stock Menasor or even PE's upgrade kit. If they cancel the project, I will have four Stunticons stuck in bot mode with nothing to combine to.

 

This guy looks beautiful! But that price tag tho...Especially since I'd have to buy a set of 3rd party feet, which just adds to the expense. The hands I could forgive, thankfully *massages sore wallet*

 

this thing's design is very simplistic looking but it does evoke the g1 feel properly...even with those CW limbs. are they going to do their own limbs in time or is this the extent of their menasor plans? FWIW, i already like the torso mode better than FP's (though it does lack some of the finesse and polish that design has)

 

Last I heard, Bold Forms plans to make their own, more G1-styled limbs. The CW compatibility is just a bonus.

 

Microblaze Creations's Onslaught replacement for FOC Bruticus was $110 at pre-order pricing ($120 now). That said, that package also includes a ton of extra parts, so I'd agree, this is a bit too expensive comparatively.

 

I hope they do more of these torsos first, follow the CW releases and do their Superion, Defensor, etc., then go back and do the limbs after. I think this would allow them to secure a place in the market.
