I think this might finally be the figure that replaces my all time favorite Starscream figure.

And believe me. I'm not just going along with popular opinion. I just like this.

The Cybertron mold used to be my favorite Starscream mold. I'm not a huge fan of the repaint. But this figure blows the original Cybertron release out of the water.

This really isn't much of a Leader-class figure. Megatron is the right scale, with what appears to be far more detail.

Nine years ago, we had a more G1 accurate and more detailed version of Starscream for $10 in the Classics release. Due to inflation, that's not possible any more, but we should get something at least as good for $40.

It's more of a warm off-white than grey. If it were MP-11 colors I would be delighted. I don't mind the grey on that one. This leader Starscream looks like it has the bland light grey plastic Hasbro usually uses. The one they used on DOTM quite a bit. To me, the deco looks incomplete visually, but judging by the tampo markings already on it, I believe this is indicative of a final production piece, unfortunately.

If Hasbro wanted to mold this thing in white, they should've used bright white like they did for the Universe 2.0 deluxe Classics Starscream repaint. Would also be cool if the face was gunmetal with the eyes being painted a bright, crimson red.

With a new nose the voyager Cyclonus figure could easily(imo) be retooled into a Animated Starscream homage(mainly alt mode).

    THIS. So much ^^^^^ <<------THIS

Honestly you come off as incredibly sensitive, for someone that likes to make defiant posts. Especially when the movie hype ramped up and the toys were leaked. Or Animated. Or whatever was being rained upon but you felt the need to somehow stand up for. Sometimes I could see that you would kill the mood in some threads due to your incessant debating.

As far as elitists, elitism is annoying but this is a fandom full of grown adults, children, teenagers, pretty much people from all walks of life ever since the Bay movies brought Transformers back to the mainstream. You may hate elitism but elitist fans are in every fandom. There is room for all of us.

Some of you weren't around during the Armada days, weren't around when Beast Machines ended and a few years later Car Robots started, et al. Weren't around during Orson's World. Lack of unity is so 2004. And years before that.

Anyways back on topic. Hope we see how the markings/paint look in jet mode. Also still itching to see what Takara does. Hopefully use a darker grey.

I love the Supreme Cybertron mold. Just wish YOTH was the old price point and not nearly $100. I think I ended up paying ~$50 for YOTH after slapping together a bunch of coupons. For that price, easily as good as or better then Leader Jetscream.

Honestly YOTH wasn't even as good as the original Cybertron Supreme Starscream's deco. I mean I still WANT YOTH Starscream as I just like that mold and Starscream in general but still, it was an inferior deco for more than twice the price.
I'd love to see Takara do these guys but I honestly dunno if they would. It's a bit hard to predict just WHAT Takara will and won't release as even during United they'd release cons that appeared in the US Marvel fiction like Thunderwing and Straxus yet they didn't release Black Shadow who was relevant to their fiction. I mean I'm totally with you and would love to see Takara release this figure (as well as Armada Megatron because at the very least I'm sure they'd paint stripes on his antlers).
In regards to making the mold "white" I've never quite understood why people call the color white. I guess maybe it's a subjective thing but Universe Starscream and the Hasbro MP always seemed light grey to me and still distinctly different from say Prowl or Red Alert.
As much as I love seeing complete trios of Seekers I'm probably gonna be irked by the lack of coneheads later. The movie lines actually made me happy with the fact that we DID end up getting all six seekers (although even there I feel like we're short a deluxe Ramjet). Also sadly Ramjet got murdered off in IDW (from what little I remember) so Hasbro probably won't care to do the cone buddies although if they randomly made a new mold for them I'd be stoked.

Speaking of, give me the Supreme Cybertron Starscream in the other five seeker deco for $50 and I'd be all over it.

i'd prefer to see the Voyager version, I can't believe they didn't milk that mold to death over the years ~ heck "Thrust" was the only one to get a US release. (that mold never made sense as a Supreme to me)

Dirge got a release here as well: Dirge (G1) - Transformers Wiki

On the fence about this. On one hand, the crown is neat. On the other hand, the null rays are a solid color, I'd have liked a little bit of paint to just set off the sea of beige/grey and blue and red. I just want a voyager trio of Seekers...

D'oh! i have that too. regardless, i would have bought every version if they'd done that, that molds about 10X better then the FOC Seeker mold and it's goofy legs.

I dig the FOC Seekers but they belong with my WFC/FOC collection. I understand that those were their appearances for a bit in the comics (I'm very particular about comic accuracy and such) but after seeing those same designs for over 5 years (next month, in fact) I've grown tired of them. Fingers crossed for voyagers somewhere down the pipeline.

It would have been nice if the crown were chromed, or his cockpit windshield were translucent.

I like it (quite a bit actually), but I just can't fathom how it's going to work with the Hasbro MP Starscream sitting on the shelves next to it...

Unless this is going to be out before the MP? What other Leader Class does Hasbro have up it's sleeves for late 2015?

The Supreme made sense because it actually appeared in the show. What didn't make sense was releasing it that early and not releasing the voyager (Takara also surprisingly didn't give the Supreme a proper release either). At this point I can't complain though as I recently got the original Voyager (having Thrustscream and Dirge already) so I've got both. Thanks to how Cybertron/Galaxy Force was so toy accurate, both figures scale the way they did in the show.
I'm probably alone in this but I'd be stoked if I found both at the same time. If nothing else the more budget oriented collector has the leader and the MP collector has the MP (hopefully without too much markup; Sunstorm should've been the cap).
I honestly like that they're around the same size and even better is that fact that if you have the Walmart version of MP3 you'll have two IDW bodies of Starscream in close scale.
