anybody ever had any luck finding CW Dead End in the San Jose area?

 

Picked up Dead End from TRU on Blossom Hill. Probably the last Transformer I'll buy in a while since they're now freaking $20/deluxe.

 

So, checked Costa Mesa Target this morning, had 2 sets of Deluxe Protectobots. HB Target had a Rook and a First Aid (I bought Rook), and I snagged the only $35 G1 Leader Megatron for the Orange Mall Walmart.

 

How did these places have nothing yesterday and now leftovers today...I must have some really bad luck

 

Didn't see any wave 3 at the HB target on Adams about two hours ago. Didn't bother with the Costa Mesa one, now I think I should have... Oh well

 

No wave three deluxe at Target Roseville 65. They had two legends Warpath, I picked up one. No Groove or Viper though

 

Full case of CW Legends wave 1 at Target San Ramon. Target Dublin had some leftover CW Deluxe wave 1.

 

Full sets of wave 1 legends and deluxes at target balboa this morning. Same issues with deluxe boxes being beat up that's been seen elsewhere on this thread

 

has anybody found any of wave three in or about the Santee area?

 

Sorry guys, that was me (or rather my wife who was checking for me - she was there super early and found a fresh case). Grabbed 1 Rook for me, and the other Rook + 1 Streetwise for Shark Jumper. I also got lucky and got one of the last 2 Grooves at HB Target, so now all I need for Defensor is Hot Spot! Ironically the only G1 Protectobot I ever owned, so I guess I have a "complete" set in a sense.

Spyshot if I see more Protectobots I'll hit you up right away! Who are you still looking for?

 

No need to apologize, glad you got them. I'm only looking for First Aid, as he was my favorite character from the cartoon. Not looking to get them all. Also, Viper is another one I'm looking for. Thanks for keeping an eye out. From what I can tell my best chances are Westminster Mall Target and Westminster Target on beach...but who knows if they got them and sold them.

 

Walmart Puente Hills had nothing,pegs were empty,but I asked the the associate working in toys if they had any CW in the back and they did have a couple boxes on the scanner but she didnt know where in the back,so she wasnt able to pull them out but she also told me theyre doing a reset of the toy section later this week then they will be out. I dont know if thats goinga be for all Walmarts,but hey new stuff on shelves after a reset is always good.

I'm glad my stores are stocking slow atm. No updates from my D-pins about them restocking Protectobots. Would be nice to get Hot Spot soon though since most Targets are stuck with last year's voyagers and Walmart's restocking is erratic at best.

 

Anyone order toys from Kohl's in the past? I just got in a order of the latest wave of Star Wars figures and they were shipped in a bag with no protection at all. Needless to say the packages were crushed. I'm by no means super anal about buying mint packages but when things are torn open from shipping, I just get mad! Sorry for the rant.

 

El Cajon Walmart has Combiner Wars Silverbolt and Optimus Prime on clearance for $15. They are on a shelf across from the video games. Most of the boxes are banged up.

 

We've got some pretty cool people at the service desk at Dublin tru...they are great about price matching, and since west Dublin target still has the deludes at $14.99...

Speaking of which...they have 1 streetwise, 1 first aid, 2 blades but are tweet it of rook and only have wave 1 basics

 

Santa Cruz TRU is a bit slow with receiving new inventory, but I was glad to finally see wave 2 CW deluxes in stock. Picked up Breakdown and Dead End, leaving 1 Air Raid and Off Road. Wave 1 seems to be overflowing there now too.

 

Dublin TRU is on fire...from D's last post, they just had CW DLX W2 on Saturday and now Protectobots W3? Wow!

 

No...sorry, TARGET in West Dublin had wave 3, I was mentioning TRU because they had wave 2 at $19.99...which is on the high end of retail...but they price match Target's $14.99
