While I do understand the need to withhold information in some cases (be it an obligation to an inside contact who shared information in confidence, or just an intent to do more research and share the full amount of information on a certain subject in the foreseeable future), there are people who know details about unreleased toys that will stay unreleased, are under no obligation to keep a secret on behalf of someone currently involved with Hasbro or Takara, yet still refuse to share their knowledge simply because "sharing" would equal losing their perceived "special status" as a keeper of secret information or some other bullshit.

Those are the people he aimed his comment at, and I've seen comments to the effect of what I paraphrased above myself. Basically a form of "I earn more money than you and know people you don't, therefore you fail at life".

If the goal is to put it on ebay, I'd recommend starting at $100. Once it's listed, contact this site's admins to inform them that it's available. It can then be credited as a news item as this is a figure that never made it into the wild and would be of interest to certain parties that MIGHT throw some cash at it.

In the end, an item is only worth as much as someone will pay for it.

    Nevermore knows what's right!

My favourite bit is when they go out of their way to post publicly to alert the world that they've PM or emailed someone TOP SECRET INFOS for your eyes only.

Probably not as much as other unreleased figures as the titanium line is not well loved.

The really cool toy I would have liked to see was the unreleased G1 titanium Shockwave. there were pics of that design shown at the BOTCON in Rhode Island. That thing looked awesome!

So, some guy asks how much his super-rare, unreleased, and barely produced Titanium Soundblaster is worth, and a bunch of people are telling him it isn't worth much because they don't like the mold. Really? You people are really doing this?

I'd guess you'd get triple digits for it, op. That's a really nice piece, even without Ravage.

That's why I think it should start at $100 and see where it goes from there...

Wouldn't a better question be: How did you come across it? WishfulThinking gave the best suggestion.

I am confident this figure qualifies as someone's "grail" because of its rarity.

I am just trying to be honest, Titanium is probably the least liked transformer line ever released. Prices for the released figures are all low with none reaching even close to three figures.

Soundwave from this line is particularly loathed, so I cannot see many collectors shelling out more that $75 to $100 for a loose and incomplete Unreleased Titanium Soundblaster.

Rarity is no guarantee of value there has to be sufficient demand to surpass the supply however small to drive the value up and in this case i doubt it is there. I do admit i could be wrong and this figure could sell for more than i think it would and i will happily eat my words should that happen.
