I'll probably get the head for my takara MP-10. I'd rather not try to paint his eyes...I'm not to good with a paint brush...and those dead eyes are really bugging me

I am not a great painter by any stretch, but I was able to get those dead eyes taken care of on my won with a little patience and some tfw2005 recommendations. It really does make a world of difference. Even with the dead eyes taken care of though, I still went ahead and preordered this led head and matrix. What can I say, I love leds. I can do without the other pieces though. I like the arms and stacks as is.

They ALL have "glowing" eyes. They're robots. They don't have colored eyeballs. When they're dead, the glow goes away.

They couldn't give a 1984 cartoon constant glowing eyes in the animation. It was pretty terrible mixed with that "kinda good?" Look to it. Lots of sloppy animation.

Wow...that's negative. I really like having so many options. I don't get half of the staff, but I like living in a world where so many of us are getting what we want.

I look at the head/matrix upgrade like this - I was/am still looking for another Matrix for Magnus, so for about $5 more, I get LEDs in the Matrix, and a new Head with LEDs in them for MP-10

I totally agree! This is why I bought the MP-10 KO but that has a whole host of other issues. I would also echo the desire for legs with wheels that would fold away in robot mode.

Wow! Nice matrix and head! Want it! Would it available on Robotkingdom or Captured pray?

Hopefully the light up function is at least independent between the head and matrix... if you don't want to display the chest piece open it would be a waste to have the light on at all times... would probably warp the plastic too because of the heat...

Have you ever dealt with an LED? You can light an entire stage with them and they still don't get hot.

If that's so, they may get me.
90° elbow range of motion is crappy. MP-10 would benefit greatly from an upgrade in that way. I'll have to see reviews, can't really tell from these pics, and if they do increase the range of motion in the elbows, they are not showing it, which would be really dumb.

    Kinda dig those smokestacks.

I think it looks pretty good. I would have to see a review first before purchasing to address a few questions that I have:

1.) Does the red on the new arms match the figure and how is the plastic quality
2.) Pricing: I think 39.99 + shipping is the max I would pay.
3.) I would like to purchase the smokestacks separately as an option.

I wouldn't say 90° is "crappy". For a higher end thing like MP-10, maybe. But for most posable anythings, I'd call it the "minimum". Unless, of course, perfect greater-than-human articulation is all you will take. But if that's the case, adjust your standards.

I'm surprised they didn't do a side-by-side with stock MP-10 to show what the new arms' biggest selling point is (better proportions). I don't blame all the people on facebook, etc who see this and immediately dismiss it because they can't really tell what the arm upgrade actually does.

At this point I can't tell if I'm warming up to the set or if my curiosity is just getting the best of me, lol. I kiiinda want it!

You can't bend your elbows past 90 degrees? You need to see a doctor.

BTW, I've heard that there will be a bonus item(s) for SF-M01B.

It's been coming soon for months. I don't have faith on it coming to market soon.

They also have a shockwave tardis that taunts me listed as "coming soon" that I want for... obvious reasons.
