Nearly snapped at my spanish teacher the other day.

My mom is having me go to the World Scout Jamboree all the frickin' way in Japan, which sounds great except for the fact that I am terrified of flying. 

Also, hate, hate, HATE the programmer on my robotics team.

 

Same here. Most of the kids on the robotics team at the school I used to go to were jerks. I really couldn't do anything except watch what they were doing because I was a "freshman" and thus "was too young to do anything".

 

No we're still staying upstairs..I just have to wear my running shoes upstairs now.

bunch of my friends were driving earlier and they got smashed by a hit and run driver. one of them was my friend who finally came back to school after tons of chemo.

fuck this, man. bad things have to happen to good people. luckily they're all okay but cmon man.

 

Just finished half-assing a history research paper. At worst, despite it being half-assed, I'll get a 60. And this is actually my easiest class, and I've been batting 90's in every other test, homework assignment, etc. So one 60 won't hurt my grades too badly.

Got my fourth out of five psychology exams tomorrow, feeling okay about it. Trying to memorize the Gettysburg Address for some Political Science extra credit.

 

Ok, here's what you do:

Do not sleep the night before you go on the plane, but do eat or drink stuff that is believed to trick your body into feeling sleepy right before you get on the plane(I.E sliced turkey usually is a good canidate, or consuming ungodly amounts of candy/chocolate will work if you time it right and the inevitable sugar crash occurs when you're on the plane itself).

That way you're probably going to end up sleeping through most of the trip while airborne. Admittedly, I've never tried this when I've flown but it's worked great for long, dull family roadtrips (as well as the return journey on an 8 hour bus ride at the end of my trip to Nat. Jambo 2010, so as a former Scout I know what those kinds of trips are like). Plus, you'll probably end up riding coach in a 747 or some other multi-decker plane - get an aisle seat if you can for the most legroom, in the middle row if possible to be as far from the windows so you have little reminder of being in the air at all.

You can pay me for my advice when you get back with some neat Japanese Boy Scout patch swag for me for I am also still an avid patch collector 

 

Played football during lunch today with my school mates, and I could not catch for fucking shit. I had 3 straight open runs and every single time my hands would not hold onto the fucking ball.

A disappointment when you know you're much better than that.

 

A musician at my store is playing loud Starsky and Hutch type music.
I used to like music like this, but goddammit two hours of this shit is enough.

 

its a great feeling just being hit by the realization that she is a grown ass woman and can take care of herself. Including finally ditching the controlling asshole(though robbing me of the chance to open a can of whup azz on him).

After years of being the only one in my family to never crack my Iphone screen, today I got out of the car, and proceeded to drop my phone face down on the concrete... My case didn't protect it whatsoever and now the bottom half of the screen is totaled. Luckily, this one is only a few months old, so hopefully we can get it fixed. Now to avoid getting my fingers cut to shreds in the meantime...

 

I've got like 3 art projects and an essay due this week, but my family needs to just chill and stop asking me for help at the worst time.

 

Unemployment

 

 

Girl I go on date with texts me finally saying to meet me at a restaurant and of course I was working the whole time and did not see the text till 4 hours later.

Ironically she went to get something to eat at the place I work and I didn't even realize that until 4 hours later till I saw the text.

 

Got work tonight yet I got no sleep at all. Been up 26 hours so far and at least 11 more to go. I feel like I will pass out before too long. Got an energy drink for later. When I get home I'm taking a sleeping pill and hitting the sack.

 

Whoever invented CSS, specifically the "float" attribute, I hope they had karma kick their ass into next year because the fact you can't control div heights seperate from the content is fucking bullshit.

 

I got off the plane from vacation/hiatus this morning and I have three tests, two quizzes, two labs, the AP exam and a bunch of other school work to make up/take.

 

I do the exact same thing.

 

Life is life.

I'm broke (which isn't news), other half got fired, expensive apartment even split four ways, car payments making me lose my mind.

Two more years and the loan is up. Hypothetically...

Either way just financial depression as always and robots.
